The food is super delicious, it's at a good price! But the waiter's service is very bad, he is not friendly with customers, there is no greeting or farewell, he does not offer you what they have and you feel as if they were giving you the food. VERY BAD ATTENTION FROM THE WAITER. That's why he's always alone or they order takeout.

Terrible service! I've never had such slow service in my life. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. The girl is rude and inattentive and the sushi chef is slow as hell. We had to wait for ages to get our food and when it finally arrived, it was cold and poorly cooked. Not worth the price. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Every week I ordered from here. Food was great! up until today. I am pregnant and can not have raw fish. I always put a note to substitute a roll for kani or something cooked.Today I received my order and no changes were made. I called and was told I was a liar and that they never replaced rolls in orders! MIND YOU I ORDER EVERY WEEK! By looking at other comments, they apparently are known for this! Terrible customer service. To be in it's area there are way more sushi places with better service! Dont waste your time!

Terrible place. I ordered extra sauce and paid for it and did not receive any of them. Called and told me that they delivered it. I said no you did not. They keep insisting that they did. Calling me a liar. They said they could not give me a refund. And sushi was not good at all. Poor service

I sat the counter/bar. I had 3 hand rolled sushi ?. The peanut butter avocado roll, spicy tuna roll and the Salmon mango roll.all made for perfection. The two gentlemen who worked there were polite and respectful. . Nice quiet only a few costumers.Wheelchair accessibility: Walk in, no steps.

Little neighborhood sushi joint I recently found around the corner of my resident. I haven't dined in yet, but I've tried takeout since it's so close to home. The price is reasonable and the foods fresh, I loved there deal $19 for three rolls , my go to options is the spider roll, shrimp tempura, and El avocado. The portions pretty good too. If your around the area definitely recommended to grab the lunch special $15 for three rolls.

My weekly sushi place for takeout. The rolls and bento box is delicious and great price as well. I love their extra free roll when you spend a certain amount.

New ownership of this Francis Lewis Blvd sushi joint renamed Kumo Sushi from the old Yamato Sushi. They still have stock of the old Yamato printed napkins and are still using them until they run out. Very little has changed in the switchover. It's still a quaint neighborhood restaurant on a block with a bunch of other restaurants. The menu covers all the standard sushi offerings with sushi & sashimi dinners and a la carte nigiri. We usually like to order a couple of the specialty maki rolls as appetizer or get a few as your entree. My favorites, though are the bento dinner boxes because they offer a variety of different cooked and raw fish dishes combined into one convenient tray. You choose the main dish in each, such as chicken or beef teriyaki or negimaki, mixed tempura, chicken or pork katsu, sushi or sashimi and your choice is paired with a 6pc California roll, shrimp & vegetable tempura, shrimp shumai, a scoop of rice and choice of a salad, clear mushroom or miso soup. A better deal you won't find anywhere. Plus each time we've gone, the chef made us a special appetizer. The last one was a tasty avocado & kani salad over crispy rice cake. Everything we had was fresh, fresh, fresh!Don't forget dessert. Highly recommend!

I ordered Uber Eats from this restaurant tonight on a whim and was very impressed! I am a vegetarian, so I ordered the vegetable gyoza and 3 roll combo with the vegetable roll, sweet potato roll, and peanut avocado roll. The gyoza were the best vegetable dumplings that I have ever had and the sauce paired very well with them. Also, all 3 rolls I got were great as well. The sweet potato roll was actually tempura sweet potato which is even better in my opinion, especially because the tempura was still crispy even though I ordered delivery. Also, the peanut avocado roll was a combination I've never had before and it was great and very flavorful! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I was craving sushi so I ordered delivery. The food was decently priced and the sushi was fresh. I would've preferred a better selection of sashimi, but this is pretty run-of-the-mill for a sushi sashimi combo. The volcano roll was really tasty as well. The Kani salad was complementary with the purchase of $40 or more. Unfortunately the Kani salad with soggy and sad. I got it for free so I can't complain, but if I paid $7 for it, I wouldn't be happy. I would definitely order from them again.

Finally we found great sushi restaurants in flushing! There’s so many sushi restaurants in flushing but disappointed most times. But this tiny restaurant (nothing fancy) totally satisfied with foods & services! And prices are very reasonable too! We will definitely going back to Kumo. They opened 9 months ago & hopefully they do great business in town. ??
