5 stars for the Boston cream pie. Don't get anything else...especially not the rectangular strawberry cake.

Hole in the wall type of place, but you cannot beat the fluffiness and whipped cream here. We love their cakes and their Boston pies.

I've been coming here for years the cakes were delicious..But I've noticed the cakes not as good anymore..Seem like they're just thrown together with no love..I will give them another try but if there's no improvement it will be my last..It's a shame because they're the only Chinese bakery that makes cake in the city..

This old-school Asian bakery serves some of the best sponge cakes that are, you guessed it, not too sweet. Yeh's Bakery has been a staple in Flushing for 36 years. Their Boston Cream Pie is made out of two layers of sponge cake and fresh cream, and is one of their best sellers. If you want it, make sure to come early because sometimes they sell out. It's so light and airy, so soft and fluffy, and so freaking good. Sponge cakes are already good, but sponge cakes with cream are even better. Yeh's also serves slices of some of their light, airy, and soft sponge cakes for $1.70 (sliced flavors like the green tea and vanilla, but not the strawberry or taro). Whole rolls go for $15 each. Cakes start at 8 inches with flavors including vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea, taro, and chestnut. You can even make the cakes into a heart shape! For their egg tarts, their custard is very light and soft. Great for people who don't like their egg tarts too creamy or heavy! Being a Taiwanese bakery, they also sell Taiwanese pineapple cakes at $2 each with two cake rectangles inside. The next time I go to Taiwan, imma eat pineapple cakes like these everyday. Don't forget to bring cash! What we ordered: Boston cream pie $2.75 green tea sponge cake $1.70 egg tart $1.70 Taiwanese pineapple cake $2 Total: $8.15

As a Taiwanese, this is one of the few places where you can buy mung bean dumplings. I recommend this one!

Excellent moist and flavorful green tea cake with whipped cream frosting and decorated with fresh fruit. The lady taking my order for a birthday cake for 36 correctly downsized my order to a cake for 30. She said that would be plenty big and she was correct. Appreciate the honesty. Excellent cake. Excellent price. Highly recommend

The best place to get a simple cake with the most delicious cream. Their cream always taste fresh and is very light and airy. We often get the Boston pie and it is now $19 (up from $12 a few years back). Never disappointed!

I ordered the green tea cake and it lacked flavor. Couldn't taste a hint of green tea at all. And the cake's frosting was sloppy.

Old school Chinese bakery. Fast and friendly service. Serving basic bakery foods and the best sponge cake you can ever have! Their signature cake - Boston cream pie. It consists of two layers of fluffy sponge cake with a sweetened whipped cream in between. The cake is super light and delicious. They also make birthday cakes in different flavors. a must try if you're in the neighborhood. And they're Cash only.

Came here on Sunday night to grab a cake! Got therir signature sponge cake whipped cream cake! It never disappoints. Kids and adults love! It's light and airy and not very sweet! Popular amongst older Asian generation who doesn't love overly sweet desserts! Thanks!

Like their pineapple shortbreads and cinnamon pecan pies. Swiss rolls are not bad but make me thirsty. Wish their Boston creme pies can have less
