I love it here. I’ve been eating at this place for almost a year and a half. The tteokbokki is really good - it’s probably the best rice cakes I’ve had anywhere

It tastes good, but it wasn't like that before, but it gradually became too watery and bland.

The food is so delicious. If there is one problem, it is really hard to order by phone. Even if I call during the opening hours of the store, I can't get through to the

I grew up in Korea and Yupdduk is my favorite ttoppoki franchise. I've tried 신전, 죠스, 조폭, 미미, etc and I always crave Yupdduk the most. I am grateful for this location but this location has definitely made its modifications.Pros:- I liked that the mild is actually mild. It's not non-spicy as this franchise is known for super spicy food but the mild from Korea is still unbearably spicy even though I am a spicy food enthusiast. So the spicy level is spicy but still manageable.- I like that they have smaller portions as the original franchise only offers huge portions.- The rice cakes are actually good texture.- Food so far I've tried has been a positive experience but nothing crazy mindblowing. The flavors are not as good as the original ones.- Service was good. The server was very polite.Cons:- It's not cheap.- We ordered the Spam Mayo Rice and I'd like to suggest a few things. There is too much mayo. It covers the entire top and it just overpowers everything. I think adding some sliced scrambled eggs and going halfway with mayo will make this dish worth to order each time. Has good potential.- I wish the ttoppoki flavors were more closer to the original for us paying such high price with expectations of the original franchise experience.Overall, I will be coming back when I crave ttoppoki and would like to try other things as well.

What the hell is this? Dumplings filled with glass noodles ONLY. I've never seen dumplings like this. You charged me $4 for these?? It's ridiculous. I hope to get refund.

Ordered the rosé mild dukbokki, the assorted spicy dukbokki, kimbap, fried seaweed rolls, donkatsu, and odeng soup. Honestly their rice cakes made my day. It's the best dukbokki I've had in a long time in NYC. This is THE PLACE to go for spicy flavorful not just sweet dukbokki. Yes the rice cakes weren't perfectly cylindrical, but frankly they were just as bouncy chewy. There is a disclaimer saying that the rice cakes might not hold their shape because they come from Korea and need to be thawed. I had no problems with their shape. If anything some of the cracks held MORE of the flavor, and it was awesome. I enjoy eating the spicy fire chicken noodles, and Yupdduk's spicy was just about that level. It was the type that adds. Curious to try their spiciest level next time and give their chicken feet and rice balls a go. The other foods were perfect bunshik-expectations, and were great sides to the rice cakes, which were the highlight for me :)Thank you for the amazing food! There was only 1 server on a Friday night, so service was a bit slower, but that never hindered from the amazing food and experience. Will come back for future rice cake cravings!

The rice cakes in the Topokki are not the shape it should be and it is all broken apart from each other. The texture should be firm and round the way it should be. This is not the first time this happened. Very disappointed.

We ordered Curry Udon with fried shrimps. The shrimps (tempura) were soggy. Curry didn't taste too good and portion is generous. We also ordered Yupgi Katsu Set lunch. The pork cutlet is over cooked so it's not tender and the skin are hard, even a bit burned.

Bit pricey this picture is 5 pieces of karaage 2 being half sized, on Uber its 7 dollars, and potato croquet 2 for 4 dollars on UE. Can customize, add toppings for tteokboki which is on the soft side often split from over cooking, but for some reason can't ask for extra meat on curry even if I pay more.

The food is so yummy that we finished them all non-stop regardless of the generous serving sizes. The kimchi bacon fried rice with cheese was absolutely my favorite, it was very flavorful and creamy, with a great texture from the thick layer of cheese. The fried seaweed roll was so crispy and yummy. The topokki was also very delicious, the rice cakes were soft and chewy and there was a lot of cheese and other toppings in the dish.

The food here is always good. They have alot of options and I love trying the other dishes. The sampler I got came with a good amount to try and their curry is a good amount of spicy! Highly recommend trying this spot out.

The food was pretty good! I would definitely recommend getting mild if you aren't good with spicy. My friends and I loved the pork Katsu which helped with the spiciness of the rice cakes and kimchi fried rice. Overall, I enjoyed the food and customer service was good. Plus the food was very affordable especially with the combo sets :)

The food here is pretty spicy even when it's mildly spiced. We got take-out for 3 items and service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is clean and dim. This place offers a lot of Korean food options!
