I was expecting more from this restaurant, food was so oily! The egg was the worst I literally used a napkin to removed the oil. Food had no flavor.

Brooooooooo super affordable and tastes so good. That green sauce will have you scratching for it like a crackhead. This place will not skimp you on portion, you WILL leave satisfied and full.Actually I spelt half the words in this review wrong from how excited I was, I wrote this with my subconscious speaking through my thumbs because I’m in a food coma as we speak, matter fact ima take my momma here tomorrow. MATTER FACT, Ima call up my daddy in Seattle and tell him I forgive him and to pull up to this Peruvian place bro no Cap.

Everything was to perfection. I ordered tostones, avocado salad, cerviche mixto and lunch special chicken. All food was warm and the serving size were more than enough for one person. Definitely going again and taking family.

I have been the customer here for over 10 years....but only because it's a good Peruvian food closest to me.BUT...everytime before I call or go in, I have to prepare myself mentally that I will be facing zero service mind oriented staff, not to have any expectation of any good service and also prepare to myself to be aggressive when needed.I think they will do better with take-ouf alone...shouldn't expand the space because it's not worth since the people working at the front are so not for this job. Forget about the management, if they care for the service, they will care more of what others' review about the rude staff. Maybe she is the owner, that's why she doesn't care of what people think. That's it!!! At the end, I just need to food.

Being a peruvian giving four stars is a huge deal for me. Especially considering I love cooking peruvian myself. I'd recommend their Lomo saltado a Peruvian must and their Arroz chaufa. Definitely get one of the Bundles if you're coming with a large party. Their aji is a bit lacking and they've raised their prices quite a bit over the years which is understandable but at the same time their service should reflect it to an extent. I work in the service industry and would expect better service basics. IE. More menu knowledge and friendlier service as well as water refills. With that being said I'd still recommend and enjoyed it having ordered out and dined in dozens of times.Vegetarian options: Salads your usual.Parking: It's right on queens blvd so parking is trickyKid-friendliness: Defintely kid friendly fries chicken not too complex

The food is delicious, and service is very attentive and quick. The ambience is small, quiet, but cozy enough for a family with kids to enjoy. I would recommend ordering in rather than ordering out. Food is really good so the online orders pile up and can be a wait for pickup.

The waitress was amazing she was so sweet and tried to be accommodating. The food was disgusting and inedible. The empanadas tasted like they've been stored somewhere for a long time, then taken out and microwaved. The lomo lacked flavor. The tres leches also tasted old. Everything was just poor quality. The food was over priced. The ambiance was nice, we went during the day so no one was there. The music is very loud, but I'm sure if we asked them to turn it down they probably would've since it was empty.

I know of this establishment. They started as a little place in Jackson Heights. They have since expanded. At the time, I was an urgent care doctor working in corona queens. A Peruvian surgeon recommended this establishment.Listen, just come with an empty belly. Try the Jalea, it is AMAZING. AMAZING. I would take this stuff back to my mom. In Greenwich, CT. And she would beg for more.Be patient, be open minded and enjoy the food. Just relax.I am really happy that they were able to expand. Couldn’t have happened to a better small business.I live too far to come now, but honestly I can’t find Jalea that tastes as good ANYWHERE.
