I recently went for lunch at Manor Oktoberfest and committed a faux pas, I ordered the lunch special, Fish and Chips. Usually, you try and avoid unrelate menu items that don't coincide with the Restaurant specialty, In this case, German cuisine. Now this isn't always the case, Some eateries can make anything taste good regardless of its origins. Unfortunately, I ordered the fish & chips, and wow, it is not that good unless you like your fish inundated with the fryer's oil. I thought dipping the fish in the tartar sauce would help, it kind of did but, I was just masking the taste. Admittingly, I ate most of the fish & fries but, regretted it later with a queasy feeling. Hey, I took a chance At something I like to eat, It just won't happen at MO. Oh yeah, they don't offer this in their main menu and please avoid the Fish & chips at all costs.
Family staple. My dad and siblings favorite. Have had many family gatherings here but also great to stop by last minute. Wonderful attentive service! Great beer and food equals good times!

I love potato pancakes and was expecting a pancake size order. They were smaller appetizer sizes. I went just for the pancakes and ended up with a fish sandwich in a German Restaurant. It was good, but I felt my choices were either sandwiches or large meals at 2pm.. I'll go back to try something else..Wheelchair accessibility: I'll disabled and didn't need a wheelchair but it's Street level. Parking is on the street as well.

Went there for an early lunch with some friends. We sat at the bar and ordered Classics on the lunch menu. I must say, very delicious and reasonably priced. The service was lovely as well. Totally recommend this place. I give it five stars.

I've been here more times than I can count. The jägerschnitzel is excellent, massive, perfectly fried, and absolutely delicious. The mushroom sauce is balanced and perfectly complements the schnitzel without making it soggy. The wurst never disappoint as well. And you can never go wrong with the Bavarian pretzel. Top-notch German beer selection and the service is always friendly and attentive. One of the best (if not THE best) German restaurants in NYC.
The food and service was great. Good variety of things to try and everything tastes so comforting and homemade. Lived in the area for several years and glad I finally tried this place. Will definitely be back soon!
