Went for brunch, asthetic was super cute. Got crowded towards the late afternoon. Service was fine and salmon tacos were just ok. Guac was great! Would go back for drinks and definitely pick something else to eat. Street parking stinks but there are lots.

The appetizers were delicious, the mojo wings and shrimp tacos were amazing along with my passion fruit pina colada. My only critique is the entree menu could use some upgrading my gf and I didn’t like our entrees too much but a great restaurant nonetheless.

Everything was good came for a little snack and happy hour moment. FYI the only thing is that gratuity is included on the bill regardless of amount of guest.

The atmosphere was very nice the service was great the food was ok.
I went for a table of 2 , let me say this first the service was absolutely terrible ? we got seated waited 10 mins to take our orders and when our food came it was COLD ..yess cold the wings were cold like it’s been in the freezer and just warmed up..people were bumping into us we could even eat without someone touching us…we sat for 30 mins beige the server came back I had to go to bar myself to order our drinks btw the drinks was good..and after all this disappointment I still Tahv’s a good tip…my overall experience of this establishment was terrible ?? should’ve went to lowkey lounge across the street.

Small portions for the price, skirt steak was ok thanks to the Chimichurri. Also ordered the calamari topped with pickled red onions, (red onions were not tasty seemed old) cheeseburger & fries were ok. Nothing special.

Overall Impression: I liken Mojo to that person who is a big fish in a little pond. For Forest Hills, note I didn't say Queens, Mojo is good and they have built themselves to be a big deal amongst the locals. However, with the plethora of Latin restaurants in Queens let alone in NYC, Mojo is mediocre. I'm not trying to be mean but the hype is unwarranted. The food is okay but I've had better food at a friend's house or at a family event. Also, I think the prices are a bit inflated although I know everyone has to pay rent so I'll let that slide a bit. Lastly, I hate when a restaurant makes you put down your credit card to make a reservation. This makes me wonder about the clientele that it attracts especially when you can go to far fancier places and they don't have this sort of requirement. Food: The mac & cheese bites are good and the chipotle sauce that comes with them is tasty. The Chimichurri steak is good but be detailed about the temperature you want the steak cooked or you might not get what you want. The rice and beans are good-predictable. The Avocado Tropical salad was delicious but it was small and mostly what looked like iceberg lettuce... Drinks: The margaritas were good- not too strong but decent.
