Location: Forest Hills Service: good enough Ambiance: clean bathrooms, clean, nice and cozy inside. Food: ordered shrimp TEMPURA: it was okay but too much coating. SHUMAI (crab and shrimp) I want more of it so thats the reason why I am coming back haha. We had chicken popcorn (i could be wrong, i forgot the name but I'll put the photo) I like it mixed with the sauce. The Yaki UDON had bitter aftertaste, I chose beef and mixed veggies. I didn't like it that much. Also, Grilled SALMON in teriyaki sauce-- it was so so good.... Hope to try different menu nxt time.

One time we're there for "Omakase" and it ended up with a lot of regular sushi.I realized " Omakase" = at Chef's choice. lol. It tells me this location has fresh fish, but there not no High End or rare fish or uni from Hokkaido. At least they didn't have that day. The service is pretty good, but the waitress asked " how much are you willing to pay for Omakase". I said " well, we can go $100 per person". Then it came with a HUGE tray of regular sushi. Yes, a HUG tray! It could fix 10 people, we only had 2 adult 1 kid. lol. The restaurant is clean and Japanese style, it was not bad for Japanese in Forest hills. Compare to Modem one, I like this location more. If they can make Real " Omakase" that would be amazing.

I have no idea if the food is good or not. I ordered basic sushi one hour ago and still haven’t gotten my food. The two very understaffed workers at the sushi bar haven’t stopped moving for a second, but they’re so short staffed it’s ridiculous.*edited to add that once the food did arrive it was quite good - the wasabi tobikko was SO good and spicy, but we’ll never dine in again!

Wouldn’t recommend to anybody! Food was 2/5, customer service was terrible 0/5. Plenty of other better options! Go somewhere else!
Not sure why the reviews aren't higher in Yelp. This is our go-to place for sushi delivery in Forest Hills. My partner, who grew up in Japan, approves. Is it super high end? No but the fish is reliably fresh, the food is good and the service is great. Favorite rolls include: pearl, spicy tekka with avocado, ume shiso. We also love their toro sushi (with shiso leaf!) Hibachi is solid. And, surprisingly, their mango cake is one of the best desserts around. I recommend ordering delivery directly from the restaurant.

To be honest, it doesn't suit Korean tastes well. This may be an error of overgeneralization, but it feels a little off.However, my taste cannot be everything, lol. Other foreigners seemed to enjoy it! Since this is America, we have to follow their tastes. It was never bad or negative.The service and atmosphere are both top-notch.

I'm writing thsi review since I recently have visited my relatives in Forest Hills.Food: I got a salmon teriyaki, yakitori, and miso soup. These were amazing and the salmon almost melted in my mouth. Eh. How do u mix up me verbally ordering the Ika SQUID & then give me Tako OCTOPUS instead? I need to start getting into the habit of REPEATING my orders back to the waiters for any restaurant.
My friends and I have checked this place out recently. I got the spicy tuna roll, tempura, miso soup, and a beef teriyaki. The food tasted amazing. Service was decent (waitress was very nice). When I return back to Forest Hills, I will definitely come back here! Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Great little spot! Bento box is definitely the way to go - great portions, quality food & leftovers for the next day. Both servers were on top of their game & made sure we had everything we needed.
