This is one of our favorite spots for dinner- it’s just across the street from home and we can always get a table for two. I’ve been obsessed with their Roti for the last 20 years as I’ve never tasted it’s equal. We’ve slurped down their delicious soups for the last year and I’ve been thinking of being adventurous, so I recently I asked the lovely proprietess for a recommendation. She turned me on to Vietnamese Grilled Chicken marinated with lemongrass and honey garlic (I believe it’s #37 on their menu) with a side of steamed broccoli: HEAVEN. The chicken is tender and juicy, the sauce is tangy and flavorful, so I dip the broccoli in it.My husband enjoys their Sizzling Seafood Delight and we always leave with our plates clean. This unpretentious neighborhood spot is a must try if you’re in Forest Hills. GO!Parking: You can park on Queens Boulevard or pay to park in the Parking lot in the Pinnacle across the street.

Did an online order via store pick up. The order was messed up as they gave me fried spring rolls and not the cheese wontons that I ordered. The restaurant wanted the spring rolls back which is unsanitary and unsafe…are you going to be serving another guests those spring rolls???? What would have happened if I spit on them and gave them back. It’s things like this that makes it unsanitary. It’s not the customers fault an error was made on their part.

i'm so sorry but i was disappointed. i've ordered 3 times hoping for better, but no luck... - their pad thai lacks flavor, like literally, it has spices (red pepper) but minimal sauce, fish bladder soup also feels like water with fish bladder. The only thing noteworthy were dumplings. The location is more catering for pick up, rather than sit down. I had such high hopes... I will be happy to update if it changes...

This restaurant has been here for decades, I believe. I have had dinners here with my cousin who lives nearby and since moving to the neighborhood, have had delivery and just recently a quick stop for lunch. Other than one incident with delivery where my hainan chicken dish wasn’t very good (too much chicken fat and rice was not tender), their food here is so flavorful, delicious and on point. The curry with the roti was perfect, the roti itself all haphazardly folded up like some mad genius’ art project. The owners/workers are incredibly nice and seem to always be in good spirits and will make you feel like family (the gentleman singing along with the music slightly off key is like one’s comedic uncle). I’ll give delivery a try again eventually since it is a bit of a walk for me (no problem when the weather is good) but I’m glad that this place is still around and endured the test of time (Covid, etc).

I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was a good decision. My first time here and in general trying a Malaysian restaurant. We were greeted immediately and the service overall was great and quick. Our waitress was very friendly and very helpful! We tried the Malaysian fried noodle with beef and the chicken curry with white rice. Portions are big - we shared both between the two of us to try both meals and we still ended up taking some food home. You definitely get a good amount of food for the price. The fried milk custard was good too- it was warm when it came out to us and wasn't too sweet. Overall great experience, great food- I'll be back for sure.

I like this little place, the food is authentic, Staff/owner is really nice. It is a little hard to find parking during the day, and place needs a bit of an upkeep. Still, I think it's worth checking it out.Vegetarian options: Papaya salad, coconut rice, vegetables rice & vegetable chow fun.

Went on Sunday for lunch. The food was delicious. Home made Roti Canal was very good, not like the circle frozen one.

I went years ago and again today. I was not too hungry but ate the whole flat noodles in shrimp sauce with chicken and vegetables. I had coconut milk, sweet potato, sago, and rice dessert. Although, as my intuition told me, it was half warmed up in the microwave, which I do not like, I also finished it.The service was great. Diners seemed to know the waitstaff, which had me think they are neighborhood people happy with the restaurant.I did not like that the waitress did not like cinnamon because it is not her culture. I was eating at a restaurant of a different culture. Give it a try! I love it!The restroom could be cleaned more, like the waste basket.

Came here with a friend who recommended and I recently saw it was packed with lots of people so was wanting to retry bc used to go to establishment b4 COVID. The food was Really good! Ordered the roti cani for appetizer and it was huge enough for 2 or more! In other places it's only enough for an individual serving but this was plenty and delish!Thai iced tea was refreshing and in a cute mug with handle.Ordered the hainan chicken and a side of chicken rice. As well a noodle dish but forgot to take pics of entrees probably hungry and ate b4 taking pics. Delicious!I don't usually order dessert but my friend was talking about fried milk curd place in Chinatown that is amazing and when looking at desserts they too had a fried milk curd so decided to try (or retry bc think I have had it in past but been so long can't remember) and it delicious! Definitely enjoyed this dessert. Was sweet not too sweet and creamy, warm while the outside is crispy. Definitely going back! And recommend! We also stayed longer than lunch bc my friend and I were chatting till almost dinner service but never once did they try to give us check or rush us out. Service was super nice and they kept refilling the water! Ambiance - it's actually pretty spacious inside so good for bigger groups too.

I've eaten here twice. The first time, I ordered a noodle dish and just recently I had a seafood soup. I really liked the food both times. During the most recent meal, I ordered the veggie spring rolls and veggie dumplings as appetizers to share with a family member; they were delicious as well!
