We had a very enjoyable family dinner at Reef. Most of us enjoyed the seafood pasta. I really enjoyed the linguine with meatballs and the clam chowder. Kids also enjoyed the sliders and french fries.

I chose Reef for us to celebrate my Dad's bday on a Saturday and the food was delicious as usual, so No complaints there! We all enjoyed our meals! However, service could've been better. Our waiter (older baldheaded guy) was very blah and provided lackluster service. He barely checked on us and when he took our orders he appeared a bit impatient. His responses to questions about menu items were very short and snippy. I don't think he wanted to be at work that day! His demeanor sucked. However, the bus girl (lady) ended up waiting on us and was a gem, thankfully. She brought my Dad's dessert out and sang happy bday with a smile..Just Awesome! :-)

The food here is delicious, the staff is courteous, However they are not the cleanest establishment, which is why I took off one star.

Great place for a dinner date! Very calm and pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff. Food is phenomenal as well as the drinks. Reasonably priced and good location middle of Forest Hills right off Austin St.

The idiot I just spoke to on the phone is why you guys went from 5 stars to 1 star. Dumb as a box of rocks.

From the time I walked in there, I felt the vibe to be way off, especially since the owner didn't greet me and my wife too warmly. The death stare was as if we had stumbled upon a place we didn't belong. Anyway, we sat in a corner and the waiter brought a piece of bread and butter to the table. I asked for sparkling water with lemon and a glass of Moscato. I had to ask for the lemon 3x before I got it. Wife ordered the fish chowder which she was not pleased with and I ordered some raw oysters and ceviche. The oysters were ok but the ceviche was way too acidic and salty. Super NOT recommended. I noticed an older white couple came after us and received their meals way before we did. Not one to be defeated, I decided to give the grilled octopus a chance and boy was I disappointed. It was severely undercooked and just...disgusting. I took it home and re-cooked it and that saved it somewhat. I will never enter this establishment again. The ambiance was nice though but that was it. This place is by far not minority friendly. What a shame and a waste.

Nice atmosphere but it ends there. The Caesar dressing tasted like it was store-bought. We ordered tuna tartare, but they gave us tuna steak instead. Lastly, when we ordered shrimp scampi, it came with a long piece of hair on it. We left starving wouldn’t go

Nothing can beat a good food, nice service and beautiful place. Have our anniversary every year here, the food always on point. The service is always great. The best NY dry-aged steak in town. Chef's kiss You will always comeback for the food since its so amazing. Treat yourself a good meal. Tried all the food, everything i chose were on point. Lobster ravioli, seafood pasta, linguine white clams sauce not to mention the bronzino. Baked Feta cheese appetizer, stuffed baked clams were our choice that day for starters. I am not a fan of salad, but i tried their cesar salad. Oh la la.. again chef's kiss!! Will always comeback for more to try

The food was 5 star. The service was 3 stars. It was empty when we got there on a Saturday around 6:30 . It took a very long time for a server to come over and even longer for drinks to arrive at our table. Two of the four drinks were incorrect. Finally the bartender came over an apologized and they were made correctly. Just seemed chaotic for barely any tables so i cant imagine packed out night. The shrimp app which comes with a little salad and oysters were both delicious. 3 of us had the filet mignon which all were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. They should tell you that it comes with a few veggies in addition to whatever side you choose because we ordered a full side of veggies as we didnt know a few of the same already come with the dish. Another ordered the lamb chops and also said they were cooked to perfection. Although service was very lacking they were nice and the food was definitely a 10/10.
