I was there on July 29, 2022. The staff were more than inviting to us! The food had great taste. Headless shrimp in lemon pepper sauce was a hit. Clam chowder was on point. Scallops were delightful. Crawfish took a while to eat but no complaints otherwise. Half a pound of blue crab was not all the best because it was two whole crabs in a bag. It took time to break it apart. Not a lot of meat in there. I gave the place five stars because they all of a sudden played birthday music in the loud speaker. That made it special. The desserts were really rich and delicious. They were frozen defrosted cakes but it still was worth it. We had the red velvet, key lime , and mango guava cheesecake. The mango guava cheesecake was a bit on the sweet sugary side. It was not bad though. I ate half and took the rest home. Tip: If you order a pound, you get potatoes and corn. Half a pound don't come with potatoes and corn.

Great spot for seafood. Place is big with TV's near the bar. Very clean. Staff was awesome when we went last Saturday. Food was filling, and not too salty. Happy hour is banging. Definitely a cool place to take a woman on a date.

I came to this location Bc on Friday while in Maryland we ate there and was very pleased. So once home we came to this crafty Crab in Franklin Square NY. Let me just say it'll be my last time here. The king crab were so small and was in pieces. They seemed rubbery and no flavor, even with the salty sauce. So do yourself a favor by pass this place. There are many place to go instead of here. What a waste of $70.00. During these hard times kinda disappointing to get ripped off. The picture make them seem bigger then they are. But trust me...they are small.

This place was a 6/10 as a good experiences for a group of friends to come together and hang out with each other . The drinks was phenomenal but the food was not as great as the food we had received , the witness she was very nice. However I do recommend this place to hang out with your friends.

I used to travel all the way to NJ for Joe’s Crab Shack .. since I’ve found crafty crab I now compare every sea food broil places to them . And let me tell you they set the bar high. The food has never disappointed me. The crabs come saucy and juicy. My husband and I eat here almost every month. I think we’re regulars at this point. The service and staff are always so nice and accommodating. The food doesn’t take long to come out. The drinks are great. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know .Get the noddles with your crab order . Mix it inside the bag .. it’s amazing !

I had a terrible dine in experience. For a Sunday night with all of two tables being waited on, the entire staff for the night was sitting on their phones claiming to be on a dinner break with no manager on site. As a business owner, this experience was laughable to me. I should have walked out and left without paying the check, i doubt anyone would have noticed. I am NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS RESTARAUNT AGAIN, and referring all of MY clients to the cajun bucket on hempstead turpike just a few lights west.

I wanted something different so I decided to take my sons to the Crafty Crab and I am so glad that I did. The food was absolutely amazing and the music was spot on. The dining experience was great along with the service. I will definitely come back.

The food was good. The service was ok. The one thing I would have improved on was for the waiter to check in on us from time to time. We would have gotten more cocktails, drinks and maybe even more food. We waited a while to get the check. Other than that I'd probably go again.
The Cold Slaw was served in the 1/4 lb container, like the one u get at a deli or Stop In Shop. And it was served with a plastic spoon! The chowder was tasty but only warm and also served with a plastic spoon. In general the plastic utensils were flimsy and cheap. On the whole I was not impressed. To bad I was optimistic going in, because it's predecessor the Green Turtle wasn't bad and both 'restaurants', I believe are owned by the same firm. If I wanted plastic I would have gone to McDonald's. Peace T
