2 weeks ago a guy walks out of the Dogwood inn and throws up 3 times, the first time 6 feet in front of the entrance. The vomit is still there with chunks of food in it. It's dried up after 2 weeks and will now need a power washer to be removed. If you're complaining business is slow maybe you should clean it up so people don't turn away in disgust.

Just a good place to have a wine and bite to eat

Came in for a few drinks and it's probably my fault for not asking how much a drink was, but the bill came out to over 80 dollars for 4 drinks for my friend and I and a plate of wings. I think that's alittle ridiculous to charge so much per drink. We are not in New York City we are in the franklin square / west Hempstead area... according to the bartender it's $12 a drink which is alittle outrageous when I can literally go to the liquor store a door down and buy an entire bottle for $20 I also wanted to add that it took maybe 30 minuets for the bartender to bring each drink and over an hour to bring the food. I'm not surprised this place is for sale

Ordered wings and were disgusting, I felt like I had ordered sundried wings, overcooked and in burnt oil, fries dark from that nasty overused oil.. my dinner ended up costing me $40 because had to get food from somewhere else, theirs was just not going into my mouth.

Great local bar. Good food. Friendly staff. A definite go to for drinks and grub. Everything I have tried on menu was delicious. Clean and comfortable. They hold special events on weekends and I have witnessed some pretty cool things.

Different beverage specials for each day of the week. A good variety. Place can be absolutely packed or empty, never seen in between. I tried the hottest wing option they had and was pleasantly surprised. The heat level was at the threshold between enjoyable and painful so I was impressed. I was expecting the "Suicidal" wings to make you question why you ordered them but they were certainly good and spicy enough for any bar. Good side dishes and I have only one gripe about this place. One of my favorite things to order are the potato skins which come with cheese and bacon. Every time that I have ordered them I have received THREE potato skins which equates to 1,5 POTATOS. Why am I not deserving of the other half of the potato that was cut in half to fulfill my order? If management were to start dishing out 4 skins per order they could expect my visit frequency to double in appreciation.

I appreciated the steak sandwich and the service. I can't wait for football wings night. The owner was really nice.
