A lot of potential but execution is horrendous. Every now & then mistakes are made I get that but almost every time I order their is something wrong. Happened again this morning & the kicker was they messed up two more orders in front of me before I even ordered (should have just walked away). I didn't even bother going back & wasting my time just threw out the messed up order AGAIN, went around the block & got the same order perfect with zero issues

Everytime I come here, I feel like I'm getting robbed. $4 for 2 pieces of rve toast. $2 extra to have the eggs in my sandwich on the side. Even the people who work here admitted to me that the prIces for the food are too high. Also, there is one man behind the counter who is very miserable and is always rude. This person needs to never have a job where he has to talk to PEOPLE. I'm just fed up with place.

Just ordered the Reuben Sandwich Bacon Egg Cheese and Philly Cheese Steak, food was delicious and the service and presentation of everything was perfect

I’ve been going to this place all my life. The former owners sold. Since then, quality has gone down, portions have gotten smaller, and prices have gone up. I ranked those in order of importance. The ingredients such as the heroes used used to be of a higher quality. Now they use cheap airy ones. The roast beef in the #1 used to be medium/medium rare- now it’s well done. I miss the way it was. It dropped from high quality to average NYC deli (where the food is all the same and not as good).

Lovely staff, they have a good memory for what the regulars order and the coffee keeps the day going . Came in here looking for food and left with a new favorite deli .
Just rude and unpleasant. We come here all the time and spend hundreds of dollars a year here, and I just dropped a $20 tip in the jar two days ago as a New Years gesture. Today their credit card machine is down but instead of saying so when you order, they put up a scribbled sign inside the window. We waited for our sandwiches and went to pay, only to find that they can't accept cards, have no ATM, and are rude about it. The guy behind us also didn't have cash and the man said, "the sign was up here the whole time you were ordering." Wow. Whatever happened to, "I'm sorry, we should have mentioned it when you ordered and before you stood here for ten minutes to not get the food because our systems failed." Or maybe, "just give me your name and I'll write you up an IOU. Pay us next time you're here." Like a friendly neighborhood place would be expected to do. So we left our sandwiches on the counter. He made no sale. I'll be sure to make this my last choice of local delis from now on. I'd like that tip back too...

Welcome to The Nightmare Deli. And since we’re in October this place is full of tricks, no treat. Yesterday, an order was placed and today, when it was picked up, it was not what I ordered. Instead of rectifying the issue, the store clerk was snobby, disrespectful, and argumentative. He replied “ Oh you should’ve been more specific. We have nothing written down, which means nothing was specified.” I mean, when you ask for plain sandwiches with cheese, how much more specific can you get? Atlantic Deli, I’ve prepared a proper Eulogy before I bury you. Thank you for the 15+ years of service, you guys were great at your craft. My grandfather catered to you for all his occasions. Sadly, over the years you’ve diminished in customer satisfaction, skill, and service. I will take my business else where.R.I.P10/29/2022

I have been coming here since 2001 and i have never had the experience i had today. Yesterday i went in to the deli to order a 3ft Hero with 1/2 honey turkey and American only and 1/2 honey turkey and provolone only. I made sure to check with the guy that took my order that it was plain no lettuce or tomato and for the mayo and mustard on the side and he assured me it was. When I came in today to pick it up it had lettuce and tomato on it, i told the gentleman who gave it to me that it was wrong because it was supposed to be plain with cheese and instead of trying to understand he immediately went on the defensive and said "it never said that on the order". I told him I specifically went through what i wanted on my sandwich with the guy the took my order and he had a huge attitude and said there is nothing i can do. Then he took back the 3ft hero and said with a rude attitude "I am just going to take off the lettuce and tomato and give it back to you". I don't eat lettuce and tomato hence why i ordered it plain. He said I can not change the bread or remake it. At this point I was like just leave it alone there is nothing I can do I am not going to eat it but there is no reason for the attitude. I also said to him to make sure that the guy that took the order knows that he needs to write down everything next time because i specifically went through it with him. IF this gentleman would have said in a calm manner that there was nothing i could do because the guy who took the order did not write it down and that the bread was a special order bread then I would not be as upset as i am now. I am 40 today and I never expected to have this issue, with my Hero place that I have ordered hero's from every time I had an event, from here on my 40th Birthday. I do not recommend this p[lace to anyone especially due to lack of customer service and disrespect I felt today.

I just had the Beef and bacon hero with mayo, oil and vinegar. Just amazing!!! I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Love it and totally recommend them!! I demolished it!
