That was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. Shot out to Backyard BBQ! Flavorful and tender pork, topped with excellent slaw on a custom bun. The only negative thing i can say is, stay away from the Mac n Cheese, it is Not Good at all. But overall ?

Wow! What a fabulous place. So glad to have great BBQ right in Freeport. We had the half rack of ribs, brisket, fries, coleslaw collards, candied yams and corn bread All was just delicious. The people were super friendly. There was a birthday party going on so we bought the birthday girl a drink and she reciprocated by treating us to a shot. We'll be back. My only criticism is that the music was a little too loud, but that's because I'm old. ;)))

Wish we found Backyard Barbeque years ago! Really delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Started with delectable mango lemonade…so mmmmmm! Husband loved his burger and fries but my half rack of ribs was out of this world! Super meaty, smokey & succulent. Owner/chef Kenny came over, introduced himself and chatted with us. Very professional & friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back for Sunday brunch.

This was my first visit to their establishment, and it was quite late, near closing time. However, the owner was so kind, welcomed us in, and gave us some available options to select from. He even went to the trouble of creating a sandwich with pulled pork for me...not sure if it's a standard selection from the menu. In any case, it was delicious. It was tender and juicy. My husband enjoyed the brisket and ribs. I also tried their three cheese collard green empanadas. Do NOT be hesitant about this clever and unique concoction. It was AMAZING! I loved the taste and how it melded so well togethed. We definitely will revisit at a more reasonable time so we can fully enjoy our dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious, lemon pepper honey wings was a 10/10!!! Yummy!!! The candied yams was to die for. Brisket, smoked mac n cheese and pulled pork was good as well. Only thing I didn’t like much was the collard green empanada. It wasn’t the best to me. And the drinks are strong which is a plus! I had the Leg Spreader, get you one! And the owner and staff were really nice. I will definitely be back.
