During COVID the Helm has really become my go to place for a quick meal with the family. The owner and staff are always wearing masks and the place is clean. We have never had a meal we didn't enjoy! The wings are great the only problem is their are too many sauces to choose from. My girlfriend and kids love the burgers but my absolute favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla. Great owners, staff, and local crowd. Ordered food here for the first time during the quarantine and was very happy. A+ bar food (especially the burgers) and some other less typical options to choose from. Their disco fries were as good or better than most diners- loved the gravy and they weren't stingy on the cheese or the gravy. Our order came with a note of appreciation which was very thoughtful. I used to go here as a kid forty years ago. Amazing memories with the scum of the earth. A true disgusting hole with all the criminals of the south shore. I only got to go because my uncle and aunt were one of them haha.
