A lot of potential but execution is horrendous. Every now & then mistakes are made I get that but almost every time I order their is something wrong. Happened again this morning & the kicker was they messed up two more orders in front of me before I even ordered (should have just walked away). I didn't even bother going back & wasting my time just threw out the messed up order AGAIN, went around the block & got the same order perfect with zero issues

Just rude and unpleasant. We come here all the time and spend hundreds of dollars a year here, and I just dropped a $20 tip in the jar two days ago as a New Years gesture. Today their credit card machine is down but instead of saying so when you order, they put up a scribbled sign inside the window. We waited for our sandwiches and went to pay, only to find that they can't accept cards, have no ATM, and are rude about it. The guy behind us also didn't have cash and the man said, "the sign was up here the whole time you were ordering." Wow. Whatever happened to, "I'm sorry, we should have mentioned it when you ordered and before you stood here for ten minutes to not get the food because our systems failed." Or maybe, "just give me your name and I'll write you up an IOU. Pay us next time you're here." Like a friendly neighborhood place would be expected to do. So we left our sandwiches on the counter. He made no sale. I'll be sure to make this my last choice of local delis from now on. I'd like that tip back too...

I recently went here and ordered 2 bags of chips ($2 each), a small fruit cup for $4.99 and a sandwich for $13.99. I have no problem with the prices, but I was rung up for $29. That should come to $23 under the math I learned. If you're going to charge a credit card "fee" it should be publicly stated. I will not be back.

You go to a Deli to get a big o'l sandwich and expect to pay a little extra for it. It should be worth it. NOT AT ALL in this case. $8.14 for Tuna on a Roll. I could have bought 3 cans from supermarket cheaper and made my own. very small amount on Tuna. Never again. Won't rob me again.
I understand the prices on everything went up BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT MORE MEAT (pause) ON THE SANDWICH. I just got a godfather (bangin) but it had 1 slice of everything . I basically had a bread sandwich . Step it tf up.

There really isn't anything special about this place. I usually get the same sandwich every time I go and it is never consistent. Just got a sandwich today, and the tomatoes had mold on it and the lettuce was brown. Also the older bald guy that works there is always rude/miserable with sarcastic remarks.

Delicious food and fast efficient service! Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Offers breakfast as well as lunch sandwiches. Paninis are my favorite!

I was recently visiting a friend in Long Island and happened upon Atlantic Ave Deli. What I thought was a nice family establishment turned into an uncomfortable situation. One of the employees (an older bald guy who reeked of marijuana) started bragging about not being vaccinated and was not wearing a mask. It was really alarming for someone to make light of such a serious situation during this pandemic. Not surprised if these other negative reviews are about the same guy. This deli for sure will not be receiving any business from my friends and i moving forward.

Extremely disappointed & disgusted by a comment an employee made. A bald middle age white man made a nasty comment about the Cuban Crisis. He asked a coworker who is Hispanic if she would go fight for Cuba's rights in a mocking tone. He then processes to continue talking about Cuba & not showing one ounce of compassion but instead talking badly about them. I could not believe what I was hearing while waiting for my 30 dollar order! I looked at him in disgust & he was making me feel uncomfortable. I would of canceled my order if I wasn't rung out before I got my food. This place sucks & is not welcoming at all. Will never be returning. In regards to the food, it was bland & small not worth it at all.
