As someone notoriously selective and meticulous about their food preferences, and how it's prepared I can confidently say that Bagelman exceeded all my expectations with my breakfast sandwich this morning. Picture this: a perfectly toasted everything bagel, with four thin slices of savory boars head cooked ham, American cheese, and butter on one side, all pressed to golden perfection like a gourmet panini :) Yep! this was my request and believe it or not many local bagel shops fall short. BUT, Bagelman understood the assignment- earning a solid 10/10! Not only did they meet my stringent standards, but they surpassed them without a doubt, I'll be ordering again and you should order too! Def recommend!

I like being able to support local businesses while traveling. Bagelman is great! Fantastic bagel sandwich! Perfectly toasted, fluffy eggs, and make sure to order extra crispy bacon! The woman at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Customers are obviously regulars and also have great attitudes. Coffee is solid and piping hot! Really reasonable prices.

pleasant at the register but this eatery needs to up their game. The egg bagel I got was def not fresh (noticeable) and the butter was spread way to heavily. it was kind of gross to be honest.

Great bagels and super nice people! I’m a native New Yorker who lives in Chicago and was in the area for work. Went to Bagelman for lunch and had a delicious bagel with cream cheese and lox. I left as they were closing for the day so they offered me a free bagel or two for the road since they make new ones fresh each morning. When I told them I was flying home to Chicago and that my family loves New York bagels, they loaded me up with a free big bag of them to take home with me. My family has been enjoying them all week! Customer service at its finest, and a great quality bagel!

I came here on lunch and it was a HUGE mistake.I specifically said LIGHT mayo because I cannot eat a large amount of mayo.They smothered the sandwich in mayo it was so terrible.I also had to wait 25 mins for a basic turkey sandwich. The cashier was friendly but the staff were all over the place very chaotic.This is the worst place on 7th street. Will never go back!

I had no choice but to wipe it off because they took so much of my lunch hour.as far as the staff everything seems disorganized they are friendly but a lot happening. I will not be going back.

Great customer service. Unfortunatelythe sanitary practices is horrible. I witnessed not one but all of the staff handling food and other job duties without changing the gloves. One employee even used their personal phone with the gloves and then proceeded to make a customers bagel. Another one was eating/ drinking with the glove . one employee left the register and went out the back door pushing the door open with the gloves and come back and fix a bagel for a customer. I can go on with this . But i’m sure when you read it you will make the necessary adjustments to assure that the food products that you serve are not contaminated. Keep up the wonderful greeting and politeness.

Fresh bagels, breakfast sandwiches, & coffee. I definitely recommend not toasting the bagels & getting a veggie, scallion, or specialty cream cheese.
Visiting from out of state, came in to try a plain bagel, ordered 2 rainbow bagels with cream cheese and omg I'm sad to say they were dry, hard and not edible, literally had to throw them away. So disappointed:(

This place is usually in shambles. You can place your order and they’ll ask you again three times how/what you want. Just to make it wrong anyway. The owner is always in the most sour mood when he’s dealing with customers. If you’re a local of the northeast don’t go here for BEC you will be so disappointed.
