We had early reservations for two and were there at the reserved time. We had specified we wanted table away from the noisy bar. They let us to a table next to the bar. As two seniors, we find loud noises to be unacceptable at dinner. They said it was the only table available, bat there were a few open table., but the hostess said they were being held for others.
Being very disappointed, we left.

Fabulous mexican restaurant. The interior design is beautiful and creative. The drinks are soooo amazing. And the food is also incredible. I got the monterey chicken and loved it. My true test to a good mexican restaurant is if they give you chips and salsa and this place passes the test The service was also great, my brother ordered a mojito and it was too sweet for him but our waitress replaced it no problem and he was happy!

Solid Tex-Mex spot close to Roosevelt Field. Definitely don't come here expecting authentic Mexican flavors/spices/salsas. They start you off with hot nachos sand salsa, which were tasty. I got the shrimp and steak fajitas. The portion was pretty big and steak was cooked medium rare. My husband got the steak quesadilla and enjoyed it as well. I asked for some hot sauce but they were all bottled and not home made. I felt like the food was lacking some flavor but it did the job. The loaded nachos were shared were also really good, huge portion.

I was looking for a Mexican restaurant with great food, quality service and family friendly. I'm so happy we found Mesita. The staff is friendly and your food is brought to you pretty fast. Valentino was my waiter he is very kind and knowledgeable with the menu. We will be back..... The food at Mesita is always fresh and has great flavor (not bland). We always get the fajita special for 65$ feeds up to 4 and still have left overs. The staff is always above par with the friendliness. The drinks are always great. The decor is dark with a relax ambiance.

First off the atmosphere is great! I had the enchiladas suizas and the chicken and enchiladas overall were very very dry. I almost always get enchiladas suizas when I dine out and the restaurant offers them and these were by far the worst I’ve ever had. Even the rice and beans were not good. My husband had the fish tacos and we really liked those. Margaritas, salsa, and chips were all tasty too. Just disappointed by the enchiladas and prices for what the meal was.Edit: while eating the leftovers there was a HUGE chicken bone in our food.

The hostess very unfriendly, I brought my friend for the very first time and it was embarrassing how the hostess in the front treated it us, we had a reservation and they were telling us that we had an hour to eat because someone else needed it the table in the back, my friend was still eating when one of them tried to put her whole food away very aggressive like rushing us, last time I went to this place, the only nice erson was the waiter we had.
