Poor Service still left 18% tips. Not staff fault but restaurant need to improve the service.

Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from Small Batch. Wonderful experience. Not only was the food fresh, inventive and meticulously prepared, but the staff was just lovely. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!

Great brunch spot/ a little overpriced for the amount/ quality of food. Food is flavorful and portioned right. Cool chill vibes, drinks, and staff. If their prices were priced a little lower it would be a 5-star

Excellent food, excellent concept, excellent service Very expensive Valet parking is a rip off $8 was added to the bill In addition to giving the valet Parker's a tip, I had to pay tax for parking and the restaurant tip was based on the bill total The parking charge should have been a separate charge

We have been wanting to try this restaurant being a fan of the owner. Everything was terrific from the decor and design , loved the open kitchen design. The staff was friendly and attentive to details. The food was terrific not huge portions for the price but comparable to others in the area. Can't wait to go back?

Very quiet night there. We were four. I had the salmon asked for medium it was well well but was still good. My husband had the pork chop- big but tough and tasted of too much grill smoke. The octopus had too much sauce on it and was just “fine”. The waygu burger was dry and did not taste like waygu. The fries were good. The lava cake was sugary tasting- not rich chocolate tasting. We tried it but not going back. Pretty inside though.

We were celebrating my son's birthday. The staff wished him a happy birthday and his menu had “Happy Birthday” at the top of it. Nice touch. We've there before and the food has been consistently good and the service is always warm and friendly.

Stracciatella App was amazing, octopus app was probably the best I ever had. Very fresh! My gf’s truffle pasta was also very good. I ordered the burger medium/rare. After it came out and I wanted mayo. Had to wait for like 10 mins for my waiter to come over to ask for it. Then waited like another 10-15 for him to come back..without it. I finally had to tell him, hey I won’t eat until I get the Mayo, can I please have it, my food it getting cold. Finally brought it over and as it turned out the burger was very over cooked, came out, well done. By this time I filled up on the fries and asked him to remove it from the order. No one came over to check what had happened which I thought was a bit of a fail on the manger’s part. But ok whatever. Then I gave cash for part of the check, and he just decided to keep the coins from the change. ( I had already clearly left tip on my Credit card). I asked him for the coins, and he was like we don’t keep any. I responded he could give me a dollar back, and he can short the restaurant not me. He went to the manager who produced the change.Normally i honestly wouldn’t care about the few coins, but it was just the way he showed us that our table was not worth his effort to do his best. He had plenty of time for the surrounding tables and to chat with coworkers. The busers were great, they really covered for him, but even were confused when they had to get him to come over to us to get our main dish order because he was “too busy.” We had dinner at 5p on a Sunday the place was not packed, but got fuller as our dinner concluded. Love the food in general, and the vibe. We will be back. We will also request another server next time.

Top notch restaurant. The pork chop was excellent. Not as good as Perry's Steakhouse, but that's my gold standard.
