I made a custom request to cure me hangover - a sausage egg and cheese between a biscuit, and in my words “just absolutely smother it with sausage gravy”Now let me tell ya me hearties, that meal was a treasure any pirate would dream of beholding. Great place to meet up with long lost friends or neighbors wanting to get together. Great vintage and local artist interior, named for local owner- boat Captain who used to take people for scenic tours on the lake! Clean well- lighted place-food priced and cooked to perfection with wonderful owner (daughter of the boat captain) and staff! Food tastes terrific! Walking distance to Visitor Center on the lake! Making plans to come back as often as possible and bring friends!

I'm an ER nurse and came in for breakfast after a busy shift. Waitress made me a fresh pot of decaf coffee so I'd be able to go home to sleep. Very nice, clean place. Great lake decor. Service was fast (but not in a pushy, get out the door kind of way). Food was EXCELLENT. Potatoes with green pepper and onions, topped with a delicious, tender steak and 2 poached eggs then drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Little accent of tasty sprouts too! It was absolutely delicious. Brownie and cinnamon bun to-go which we thoroughly enjoyed later in the day............We will be back!!

Went with my husband for brunch! I had a bagel with sausage egg and cheese. The sausage was a little crispy but still good eats! My side of hash browns was great but fell apart when you tried to pick it up. I had hot chocolate and for the price you get a really good sized mug!My husband went for more of a lunch break. His sandwich, Mac salad and chips were reportedly good ?? our second time here and still the best !!
