Having been many times, I am surprised I have been so remiss in reviewing 2 Forks Up. We're close, so we go frequently. I have rarely been anything but satisfied, and frequently pleasantly full with my taste buds tickled. To start with, parking is odd - they are located in a strange part of center Getzville next to some old buildings we are always curious about. Their stairs are steep to enter. Now, on to the goods. I brought the (adult) kids and in-laws there last night, and we had plentiful apps (fried banana pepper rings, good but not painful heat), mozzarella sticks, and salads. Bottle of wine, few drinks and entrees all around, bill was $300 with tip for 6. Not awful.Lobster roll continues to be well-stuffed and tasty. Wife's shrimp scampi had her raving. Father in law's food restrictions were well handled and he enjoyed his meal. Wish the scallops on the Cajun scallop roll were larger and fewer in number but the taste can't be beat. I would order the fisherman's platter if I wanted to indulge and be less-than-healthy.No desserts this time but check out the case when you enter to eye what they have!Huge plusses include a server who handled our unusually-picky table with grace and professionalism, THE SIDEWINDER FRIES (the best fries I have ever had!), a tasty gin and tonic with cucumber that was very reasonably priced, the after-dinner mints (we selfishly always pocket a handful, they're our favorite in town!), and wine to-go.Only drawback, really, is the loud dining room, but hey, folks are having a good time. We'll be back soon, especially when our mint supply starts to run low. ?

Well worth the drive.. I'm from the East Coast and I love seafood. While in Buffalo visiting I came across this restaurant, so we gave it a try.. let me tell you the portions are excellent plenty of seafood in the pasta scampi loaded lobster in the tacos. They do not skimp on the serving size. Plus they had the largest sea scallops I have ever seen.

I pass by 2 Forks up every day on my way to and from work and have always thought, 'what a cool building for a restaurant.' I finally decided to look it up and discovered that it is actually a fresh seafood restaurant. After checking out their menu online, I was impressed by how delicious everything sounded and how reasonable the prices were. So tonight, I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. I ended up ordering the seafood scampi, which the waiter had recommended. The portion was really generous and it was packed with lobster meat, large shrimps, and scallops. My boyfriend went with the whole lobster, 3 crab legs, and a perfectly cooked medium rare strip steak that came with yummy mashed potatoes, a roll, and some asparagus. The waiter even offered to remove the lobster meat at our table, which he did flawlessly. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, always there when we needed him but never hovering. We couldn't resist taking a piece of key lime pie to go, but we're definitely planning to come back soon!

We traveled from Rochester because we heard the lobster roll was good.. I wouldn't drive 5 minutes to eat at this dump. We had appetizers, lobster Mac and cheese, and lobster rolls. The food was blah and very skimpy on the lobster. The fries were actually delicious and were the best part of the 120.00 dollar bill. Not worth the money.. unless you're going out for fries..lol

This place is old! We could not believe how crowded it was at opening . The food here is very mediocre. Our food was mainly cold and not much flavor. I guess there are a lot of people who like bland food. Not a place I would recommend to anyone.
Came back a second time for the crab legs. I guess it's hit or miss because there was NO flavor to them. I had to dr up my butter with salt and lemon. They were also cold when they came to the table. The first time they were too. For my vegetable I got 3 sprigs of Asparagus. I look towards the bar and the bar maid is vaping. Seriously!! My date asked for well done broccoli. They were still served crunchy. I saw a couple plates go back to the kitchen. Must have been an off night for the cook. That was it for me. To much money spent for sub par food.
