The food has been consistently good. My two y.o. love's the fried rice. We eat here at least twice a month. Service is great.

Second time ordering, both times food was very fresh tasting. And thank you for the extra appetizer.

I’ve gone to Sun Garden a few times and have had varying experiences each time. The general tso’s chicken is usually tough and grisly, but I went there anyways because my spouse likes the spare ribs. However, when we ordered the spare ribs this past summer (2023) they tasted old, like they had been sitting for a few days. The meat was tough and inedible and went in the trash. We decided to give Sun Garden one last chance because our usual Chinese place was closed, and within 90 minutes of eating the chicken we were both struck with stomach pain and diarrhea. I thought maybe it was just the chicken, and the next day I ate my egg roll and crab Rangoon. Again, I became ill after eating and ended up throwing out $35 worth of food. The Erie County health department site has inspection records, and Sun Garden has repeat violations for leaving chicken out at unsafe temperatures where it can develop toxins. I will not be giving this place my money any more.

My wife and I have been coming here the last 3 years. The family who owns this are amazing! We come in about twice a month and they know who we are every time. Food is spot on and they actually care about what they do! Highly recommend stopping here!

absolutely terrible experience. the chicken tasted like it was made the day before and was just re heated the rice was dry and had no veggies, and the egg role was barely. cooked. and everything was barely seasoned. I do not plan on coming back there again.

Take out/delivery Door Dash. I cannot really rate atmosphere or service. Service seemed fast from the time of order to delivery. This was seriously the worst Chinese food for take out we gave ever had in WNY.The egg rolls were the only part of the meal I could stomach. The sweet & sour chicken had no white meat. When biting into it, it felt like you were chewing into fibrous areas of the chicken. Not like normal white meat you get in Chinese take out. The meat so was chewy & gross. The general tso chicken was mushy(not crunchy) & the order was supposed to be large but the rice took up 2/3 of the container. Chicken lo mein had barely visible tiny pieces of chicken that were about 1-2mm wide and less than 6-7mm long. Again all dark meat. They should advertise or give you a choice of white vs dark meat & then charge accordingly. The noodles were cooked well. Scallion pancakes? Don’t waste your 6.00.All parts of this meal were heavily laden with grease & lacked flavors normally tasted in Chinese food. We were terribly disappointed. We won’t be wasting hard earned money here again. 75.00 for this order & sad to say it wasn’t worth it.

Quick service. Hard to find vegetables in the remarkably mediocre Vegetable Lo Mein and crabmeat corn soup. Crispy noodles tasted like their bag. The Boneless spare ribs were decent.

I love Chinese food and always like to try new places. Most don’t stand out and are good or ok. This is my all time favorite!!! Ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein, WOW!! Super fresh vegetables, chicken super tasty, sweet and sour sauce perfect!! And very appreciative super nice staff!! Try it once, it will be the only place you go from then on:)

My first visit last night 3/31/2023.A typical small Chinese takeout with only one letter in its name lit up outside at night. All remaining letters were out.The place looked closed. From my car I could see inventory stacked up against the window. I hate that look when walking into a restaurant. I thought to myself did I make a mistake? After I got home and opened everything up I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. The Happy Family was very good with fresh vegetables. The egg rolls were plump and crisp.Allthough the wonton soup was very tasty, I wish there was a couple more wontons in it. Also I wish they had a small orange chicken on the menu and not just a large.Overall we enjoyed our meal and we will be ordering from Sun Garden again.

This was bad. Tso’s chicken was mushy and acidic. Chicken and broccoli was slimy and flavorless.

Discovered this place today and I must say the service is fast and the food is amazing. Lunch specials are under $10 - must try place if you are looking to grab a quick bite.
