I have to close my eyes when I buy food here. It doesn't seem super sanitary . The ambience is not great and it doesn't feel authentic Italian when im being served. The prices are inconsistent and change every time . Food is pretty good though. It used to be excellent as I've been coming here for 30 years.

I had the Mussolini and it was very well worth the money. Packed full of meat and decent size and great price point. Would definitely go here Vs. Some other places in the area that charge closer to $20 for a smaller sized sandwich.

I've been coming here for 25 years at least this place has gone downhill. I used to go here for a delicious sandwich my daughters in from the West Coast they don't have deli sandwiches like that so we went in order to one was a ham and cheese and one was a prosciutto mozzarella- 1 slice of cheese on the ham and cheese and look at this prosciutto! This is it? Awful.

Ordered Roma sandwich - prosciutto, mozzarella, eggplant and pepper - it was fresh and delicious. Bread was crusty and airy. I want to try everything else. The staff was friendly.

Only one of two (the other one is more like a supermarket) where you can get true old world authentic Italian prepared dishes, deli meats and finger foods as well as drinks. My personal favorite is the Tripe on the steam table.

If I could give it a 0 I would. I asked for half a pound of chicken cutlets and what I got was 2 cold chicken cutlets, obviously laying out from the night before . He charged me $6.00 for this. Ripped me off and quality was terrible. Taking advantage of customers like that is not in any way okay. I hadn't noticed till I had gotten home that this is what he had given me. Never again 0/10.

Old school Italian deli. Has the freshest mozzarella around. Lots of pre made hot food. I go about once a week and order from the sandwich board. One $12 sandwich will feed two people. So for six bucks it is a great deal for the quality and quantity you get.

What can I say about this place that hasn't been said before. Stumbled across this place in Glen Cove. Old school Italian deli. Salumeria . This place has been around for 50 years and for good reason. Great fresh heroes on Semolina bread. They have hot food as well, but I come here for the heroes. Fresh mozzarella with roasted peppers and eggplant. Chicken parm with fresh mozzarella. Everything is fresh ! Sometimes the line is long but it moves pretty quickly. Great selection of olives and peppers. Cheeses and all imported meats. Do not come here hungry enjoy the sandwich,Get a Roma or a Palermo! You can thank me now !
