The food is not that great and the service is terrible, especially the ppl who work in the bar area. They are very rude. We did love it at one point but they changed the staff and it went downhill from there. They should really have nicer people in the bar area.

Arrived at 11 AM for a pricey Sunday Brunch. $30.00 for one piece of avacado toast and a beverage. Ive never seen a restaurant serve one avacado toast. Left the restaurant hungry. Thats not good.

Food was ok, the beers were good. Place seemed not to be running well. Walked in with 5 people for a reservation and waited by hostess desk. After over 15min I asked the bartender if they had a hostess, he said yes and to wait. After another 15 minutes I started walking around asking for the hostess so we could all sit. The place wasn't even busy. I could only imagine if it was how much longer we would have to wait. Not worth it.

I was there with my lovely wife, on Valentine's Day and Lisa made our visit there very nice! She treated us as though we were in a 5 star restaurant with her attentiveness and friendliness. Such great attention and great service! We had a wonderful time, the food was awesome & the beer is great! Thank you Lisa, and thanks for the great beer and the fun time!!

Boyfriend took me out on dates here numerous times and the food has always been fresh and great! During the summer they have great outdoor seating & live music on the water! Sooo much fun!I would definitely return here & reccomend to a friend.

Wish I could give this place a higher rating..but after my last experience, it deserves no stars. I was there last Saturday night and my waitress was Karen, she wasn’t friendly, attentive or heartwarming like the service staff usually is. I am a regular at this place and so are my friends/ family. The crazy part is, I found out she is also the MANAGER. Unfortunately due to my experience, I will not be going back and its unfortunate that people have to experience her type of service/management, I truly hope they don’t keep her around.

Used to be a really good brewery but has since changed their vibes to be more of a corporate styled restaurant that also serves beer. The quality of the beer has also really gone downhill.

Garvies has great a food selection and amazing beers to choose from, the building is gorgeous by the water with plenty of parking I highly recommend this brewery not just for the beer but also the menu as well , there's something for everyone

Bad experience! We spent over $200 on lunch, and to spite the average food and service tipped generously. My husband left his phone behind on the table. We knew it was there as we had not been anywhere else. Less than an hour had passed since our visit and I tried calling several times, NO answer. It was Not very busy there when we left or when we returned! We drove back to get the phone. My husband walked in the door, there was no hostess and no acknowledgment from anyone. He spoke with who we believe is the manager who was talking to the bartender at the bar where only a few people were seated. He eventually had to interrupt to be acknowledged. The manager said rudely and without checking absolutely no one turned in a phone!! It is not there! When my husband came back to the car and told me this I went into the brewery to find the bus boy who cleared our table. Something the manager should have done of course. The busboy says yes he found the phone when clearing and put it at the hostess stand in lost and found. I could hear the phone ringing, I was calling it! I had been calling it repeatedly.Wow! there’s a lost and found?! Why wouldn’t a manager know this and check there?I’m one of those people who believes customer service is as important as the food. We live over three hours from the brewery. Had I not been persistent and found the busboy myself and called the phone and heard it ringing and walked around the brewery, we would’ve had to cancel phone service, replace the phone and would’ve been back home in another state and the phone would still be there! The lack of professionalism and effort was shameful and Unbelievable! This was our first and last visit.

Ate there a year ago for a business meeting. The atmosphere is very good, with wide open spacing and seating at and near the bar. We went this time around family dining hour. The service was extremely pleasant and concerned about our comfort and recommended dishes. The onion soup was extremely delicious. My partner had the meatloaf with potatoes and finished it feeling good. I was disappointed with the salad and spoke to the manager. He was very gracious and concerned, extremely customer-centric, and ensured we left feeling good. I would definitely go back. They have bar food and other options. Their selection of beers is very good,

Fun place! Nice brewery that was extremely clean, played great music and had a nice friendly crowd. Food was amazing! We ordered the pretzel and the short rib grilled cheese, they were both 10/10. Great place to go when you want a casual night out! The only thing was one of the bartenders was rude to every customer she helped. She didn’t help us but we were sitting at the bar and it was just something random we noticed and we felt bad for everyone she helped. But besides that, it was great!

This was a good family experience for us. We had six adults and a toddler, and the restaurant had a good child seat with a seatbelt. We were seated next to a window, which kept our toddler entertained and amused. The beer was great, and the food was very good. Our overall experience was very good, and we will be going back.

I stopped in here on a Saturday date night with my boyfriend. We made a reservation about an hour earlier and were seated right away when we got there. We started off with the cornbread with cinnamon butter for an appetizer and it was phenomenal! The bar was set really high from the start. I got mozzarella sticks and a side of mashed potatoes for dinner, and my boyfriend got the pulled pork grilled cheese with fries. All the food was hot and delicious and I have to say, the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've ever had (sorry mom). The waitstaff were attentive and friendly and the manager even circled around to our table and asked how everything came out. The overall ambiance of Garvies Point really drew me in as well. Very "modern-industrial chic" but still somehow warm and inviting (and let's not forget the food was to die for). Would definitely come back, can't recommend this place enough!

Great Dinner at Garvies! We started with potato skins and pretzel's. Then we had the chicken pot pie and skirt steak. Both were delicious. The beers were great and even the cocktails were good as well. Can't wait to go back again.
