The best of the best here! Authentic pizza you won't get it any better! Fast friendly service, on a main route but you could easily miss it. Love love love this place.

I want to like this place, and upfront let's say food was solid, good, and well made. The challenge for Long Island is that most Italian food is solid, good, and well made. So you have to either go for convenience and low price or really shoot for the high end. This place does neither. Prices are pretty high, the service is SLOW and not very organized. The location is a challenge, and decor is crowded with too many tables, but I'd get right past that for well priced food with solid service. This place is neither. Seemed to be moving a lot of pizza though.

La Pala is truly a hidden gem in glen cove!!! We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is unbelievable, they're great about substitutions and customizing your meal. They also always have the best desserts! Definitely highly recommend if you're looking for great food, we always love it!

Ordered the margarita pizza with garlic n fresh tomatoes.Yowza!They do pizza right here!Chewy thin crust.Super fresh ingredients.Astonishing.Friendly employee on the phone and at the bar.The place is a bit hidden so you have to look for it.Will return.Can’t wait!

Had dinner for two recently and really enjoyed it . We shared a personal margerhita pie as an appetizer and it was very good . Nicely charred crust and flavorful sauce and cheese . Veal Marsala and pork ossobucco were both enjoyed , as was a shared side of broccoli rabe . Wine list is small but fairly priced and sufficient . Only complaint was the espresso , while nice quality was not served hot enough . Service was friendly and quick . A real nice somewhat hidden restaurant that I would recommend

This was the closest thing to the food we've eaten in Italy, truly outstanding. The spaghetti with clams was fantastic, nice wine selection, and the entire atmosphere felt like we were back in Napoli. This place is totally underrated, and if we had known how amazing it was we would've been here a lot sooner!! Will definitely be back

Absolutely perfection. By far the best food in Glen Cove . Rib eye steak, short ribs , charred octopus amazing . Everything that we ordered was perfect . Good service, atmosphere nice . It’s a perfect place for a good 5 star meal at a very good price . Every time we come here , food is amazing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic wood fired pizza! We try something new each time and it's always delicious. The plain pie and Rughetta are our favorites. La Pala is our new go-to pizza spot.

Went here tonight after bayville scream park and sat outside (wearing puffy coats). We both had risotto - it was seriously delicious. The service was super quick & people who work here are lovely. There’s a ton of outdoor seating for the covid paranoid like me (no heaters but not necessary just yet). Billy Joel & Elton John in the background. We will be back.

We went 2 times. First time was excellent. The second time it was a total bomb and couldnt believe the difference . Plus the waitress was definitely high . She couldn't stop talking but couldnt remember to bring us our drinks but I don't think she works there anymore which is a plus .
