So my wife and I we love eating out and exploring new places and places I most say the food it’s amazing and drinks except for the fact they put the music very loud and makes difficult to have a conversation and I felt like at times they forget that we were there I do recommend it but if you’re not into a dinner conversation it’s the place.Parking: It’s on a private sort Nieghbord hood so parking it could be a little bit of issues.

Horrible service, my friends went to this location around a month ago, she ordered a Bistec a lo Pobre and the meat was tough and tasted rancid, she complained and the chef told her he was not going to change it, she ask for the plate back since she was hungry and the guy told her he threw it away and wasn't going to cook for her again! I am appalled by this behavior l, unfortunately the owner was not there. She is Peruvian and always supports Peruvian business, not this one anymore. Only because she is Latino would they treat her like this. I will Make sure to never go to this location, I rather spend my money on the other Vicharra in Glen Cove.

It’s okay. I’d come here instead of fast food or pizza. One of few places you could get the Guinea pig. Service is lacking, but that’s not the resturant’s fault - I’m only reviewing the food. Delivery driver lady refuses to drop off food at your door she tells you to come to her car lmao. With pio pio’s arrival this place will have to step it up.

Came to La Vicharra because I was curious, and it was a spur of the moment kind of thing. I have to say, the food here was great. They have a large selection of Peruvian dishes that will leave your mouth watering. The staff were attentive and helpful. The only nitpick was that the cocktails were strong and that from the outside, the restaurant looked more like a corner bar, and the music kind of makes you feel you're in a cantina. I would still recommend it just to try other dishes

Horrible service. This place doesn't know how to handle their customers. I placed an order thru grubhub. Grubhub contacted me and inform me the order might take longer then usual and ask if I wa t to wait . I told them no I rather order from else where and try them again another day when they not busy . I placed another order with them and they cancel my order with no explanation so I called to find out they cancel my order because grubhub told me it would take too long . Why is this my fault. Keep away . They don't care about their customer at all . I order from this place at least once a week . I guess now it will be NEVER!

Just had dinner there tonight. I ordered fish with rice and french fries. My wife ordered t/chicken w/rice and fries. Both meals came overly saturated in a salty brown/red sauce making them inedible. Could not taste the fish or chicken. Mentioned this to the owner and he laughed. Odd experience. Disappointing to say the least.
Good was very oily too much! Very depress ambiance. I am giving 3 stars because the picarones were really good!

My opinion is 5/10. Best thing was the lomo Salado juicy and rich, but french fries could have been fresh def tasted not the freshest. The jalea, grilled seafood combo, def wasn't fresh, this is NY lol. But I mean didn't taste the freshest fried either didn't come out warm so eh. The inka cola was nice I was there to try. They didn't have a lot of drinks like pisco sour during lunch only sangria, which was below average. The chicken Milanese was very good fried well and juicy. No complaints on that. The bistek de povre, steak dish was ok egg fried ok, steak was juicy but a little tough even tho tenderized. The aji, didn't tasted right almost like it sat out too long and kinda dried out, def subtracted from the experience since aji adds flavor to Peruvian meals. I never had picaronnes, fried Peruvian donut rings, before, but I enjoyed them a lot, my friends liked them but not the juice at the bottom I think it was too boozy for them for me it has a vanilla liquor flavor which I enjoyed. Be careful this review this location is from different owners and staff from the other Vicharra in Glen Cove. So if you don't or do enjoy your experience here you may or may not enjoy yourself at the other location since they are different. Again this is just my opinion. This spot clearly knows how to treat their clients. Always with a helpful mindset. The food is fairly priced, constantly flavorful and clean.
