I had the pleasure of joining my bestie today at Southdown. While she’s been there many times before today was my first but def not my last. I had the avocado toast which was the best I’ve ever had. The coffee also was delicious! I’m not an easy to please person but the food, staff and atmosphere were all spectacular!! I felt like I was in another state like Utah or Colorado.

First time here, walked over from my sister's so I was exploring the neighborhood and was delighted to find such a charming, quality cafe! The cappuccino was DELICIOUS, menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming and they had several gluten free pastries, as well as a gf bread for sandwiches.Kid-friendliness: Open space, outdoor seating, staff was patient, friendly and addressed my daughter.

I adore this place. Always amazing service, even when it's super busy. And the ambiance is second to none :) love their seasonal baked goods and truly am a sucker for a good iced vanilla latte. Have given their bagged coffee beans as gifts for friends & family and have gotten nothing but rave reviews!

Finally tried the Glen Cove location & it's my fav!!!! Plenty of room plus cute outside seating as well. Of course as expected the drinks & food are fantastic! Same for the staff, very friendly & welcoming, actually the staff here were the friendliest I've met so far and they were super busy! The biggest space so far, (I haven't gotten to Patchogue yet) different rooms & I loved the artsy vibe. I think there is a wine bar at night too, wish I lived closer!!!!!!

What a pleasant surprise. The bldg that house Southdown is easy to spot but I wasn't expecting it to house a coffee shop. Parked right across from it and walked in to a comforting atmosphere. Wood floors, spacious and airy. Fireplace to your right and tables scattered in 3 different rooms and there is outdoor seating too. Plants and paintings dotted the place makes it homey.I was greeted right away and the gentleman graciously gave me time to study the menu. I ordered chai latte with oatmilk and an egg sandwich with prosciutto and avacado. The chai came out pipping hot and full of flavor (tasting ginger and cardamom) the sandwich was freshly pressed and not salty at all. Definitely like to be back to try any items.Loving the vibe and great to hangout with friends.

I love everything about Southdown! The baristas are kind and friendly, the baked goods are phenomenal (please try their dark chocolate sea salt cookie and the cinnamon cardamom knot), and the coffee is exceptional.I love their lattes and iced lavender matcha in the summer time. When I'm feeling sniffly, their turmeric lattes are really soothing and warming and the chickpea sandwich is great for lunch on the go.
