Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. It's a old school restaurant and I strongly recommend everyone make time to get here. The service is great as is the whiskey offerings, which was a pleasant surprise at an Italian place.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with family today. Food was fantastic and served by staff who really made us feel welcomed. Chatted with the owner Dylan who grew up here. A nice, intimate restaurant. Try it.

The dinner was outstanding and the service was great. We celebrated my wife's birthday and see was surprised with a birthday desert with candles . We will be back again and tell our friends about our outstanding dinner.

Oh what a gem. This is a special spot. The food is outstanding. The owner is really attentive the drinks or diverse an interesting, and the service was excellent. We had the chicken and it was so good with peas and potatoes and broccoli all cooked perfectly. The appetizers were excellent as well, including the fried calamari! Don't tell anybody about this place!

Well I don't know what happened to this restaurant . This restaurant was always good always packed and always full of friendly people. My last experience there was bewildering. No waiters on the floor, a owner or manager walking around and an elderly man from the bar. Kept getting up and walking over to all the tables. the elderly man looked a little disheveled under shirt hanging out below his sweater he look like he was sitting at the bar and having one too many. At some point in the middle of the meal he was actually just standing in the middle of the dining room, I thought he was looking for the restroom, but then turned around and went back to stand by the front door, the waiter we had was also the bartender, greeted us, walked us to our table set us down never gave us water took a while to come back and get our cocktails. We ordered two drinks. One was a vodka martini with one olive when they returned it to our table it was the size of a P floating in the martini glass. Still no water. This gentleman was not dressed as a waiter and he was often busy running and serving tables and making drinks at the same time. The food was good. I have to say, but it was very strange. It was almost like they had no staff at all and this was a Friday night, which should've been hopping. Just cause the service was strange I don't think I would go back.

Took my parents out for dinner to Ernesto's last night. Everything was excellent - my husband had linguini marinara, I had the chicken scarpariello special and my parents shared the chicken scarpariello and a pasta dish - can't remember which one. Everything was excellent, and the service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is small and it feels like you're eating in someones kitchen but the food and the service were both completely outstanding so you don't really mind the lack of ambiance

Our group of six was seated right away. We were greeted by all service staff. Then drinks, entrees, desserts—all served 'on time and with a smile. Most enjoyed one or other of the chicken dishes. One enjoyed pasta. All agreed the meals were delicious and were pleased with the restaurant overall. It was agreed that we had found a great new spot to get together. I personally appreciated the portion size: not too small, not too much, just right. The portions probably keep the prices down, but they also support our efforts to keep to weight off.

Service was beyond slow. 45 minutes of being ignored. Empty glasses waited for water, repeatedly. We were about to leave before we were served. The bread was stale; the pork chop was seasoned to the point of being inedible and the seafood pasta was mushy. This was our second chance visit and the last.

Loved dinner last night! The salmon over pesto was awesome (thanks for letting us 'adjust' the nights special to swap the chicken for salmon) as well as the chicken valdostano.

Very small restaurant, I ordered a Caesar salad asked to add chicken, what I wasn't told was that they would charge me $32+ tax for such salad, which is ridiculous, regular salad is 12 adding chicken is $20 more, absolutely ridiculous never eating here again!

Excellent food .. tender veal and food piping hot !! Staff very friendly and bread pudding dessert off the chart's delicious

For those of you that don't know this restaurant was formerly a butcher shop. There are several reminders ,such as the subway tiles, the wooden refrigerator door on the back wall. I find it quaint , not out of mode like some. The food is always delicious ,servers friendly as is Dylan the owner. Keep up the good work!

I never post reviews but this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a very long time. The service was horrible. My friend and I had to ask for menus, ask for water and ask for someone to take a drink order. The restaurant was not crowded at all (two other tables). We waited a long time for the food which was just o.k., very marginal! We had to ask for a coffee and a dessert menu! The owner stopped by the table and asked how things were and we told him about our experience. He made no effort to apologize or to make any gesture at all to diffuse the situation.I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will never dine there again.
