This place deserves all the stars. This was the sushi spot I needed!! I got takeout to give it a first try. I ordered the spicy tuna, tuna roll, and yellowtail jalapeño app. All were fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and absolutely perfect. Place looked busy Friday night. Looking forward to dining in next time.

As a very judgey Japanese food eater (also full japanese nationality) i tend to find "recommendations" from non Japanese as not the best. Well, I have been shown the light. A recent new friend of the family, told me this place was legit, I was skeptical, but now know I was wrong. WOW, I LOVE IT sushi, is fresh, i mean, like fresh NOT a single SMELL , which is the true way to know if they are cutting corners, and using manufactured FROZEN fish as opposed to flash freeze fresh fish. I also judge chinese food places by their dumplings, and just like that, the GYOZA that was put in front of me, WAS LEGIT. certainly not store bought. just like my mom would make. main entrees of filet/teriyaki *(i know not super japanese by my hubby is of european decent) the beef was SO soft and flavorful. and my 5 year old LOVED the yakisoba. GREAT EPIC place and im so happy i live 20 min from it. GO GO GO, its awesome =)

Omg the food was so good honestly the cozy little spot we found by luck really I highly recommend you can choose a booth or table we choose table we where in a rush had to b somewhere wish we didn't but we will b back on the 18th and I will update with lots of photos the food was so delicious very tasty fresh and I can't wait to go back our waitress was so nice too everyonevwas there check this little spit out great for a quick bite family's or a nice romantic date night

this is one of our favorite finds in the roslyn area- we love love love the sushi here. fresh and creative special rolls at reasonable prices. it is always packed here- everyone knows how great this place is. we also like their entrees- udons and fried rice dishes. staff are attentive and friendly, great spot.

Sushi was great. We ordered take it. The places was packed. Can't wait to try more rolls! It's also fairly priced and good quality. I would recommend. Parking is a bit tricky but totally doable. Place is small and cute.

Sushi here is very good. I only do Nigiri and was very impressed. Quality of the fish was outstanding and the prices are fantastic ($7.25 - Hokkaido Uni!). I felt a little rushed sitting at the bar and they mixed up my order with a wrong piece that I did not order, but otherwise was great. I will be back!

Where do I begin? I cannot think of enough nice things to say about Kiraku. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. It is my favorite place to go for any celebration. I would order from here every single night if I could. I love the spicy edamame so much I tried to make it myself but nothing compares to Kiraku. We love the beef negimaki, ichiban roll, gyoza, sushi & sashimi combo, sweet potato tempura rolls, and the banana tempura! You cannot beat the price of the lunch special. The sushi is so fresh, and the owner is incredibly kind. He recognizes my family every time we visit. Inside the restaurant, the tatami booth seating gives you a more traditional Japanese experience. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. You will not regret a meal here. Kiraku is the BEST sushi restaurant in the area. Such a hidden gem -- 5 stars isn't enough!
