“This place is fantastic! All from the amazing touches of the owner greeting you to talk about the specials to a small dish of sorbet in between your salad and entree to cleanse your palette. Everything we had here was amazing! The service is superb!! Our server was amazing and very attentive the whole time we were there. She found out that we were driving a half an hour back home and made sure to pack ice in with our desserts to-go to keep them cold. I would recommend this place to everyone!!”

Gordon and his Staff are amazing people, that work very hard, for people to enjoy the Tug Hill experience.Nearby activities: Gordon rents snowmobiles, ATV's, and side by sides, so people can see the beauty that Tug Hill has to offer. On the second weekends of June, July, and August, Flat Rock Inn hosts snowmobile Watercross races. Watching a snowmobile hydroplane at speeds over 60+ mph is something everyone should experience !”

“The nicest most accommodating bar tender (maybe owner) i’ve ever met. We came in soaking wet after getting caught in a rain storm on our SXS and she put our clothes in the dryer for us. She went out of her way to help us and enabled us to enjoy the test of our day. Highly recommend!”

“It's a small town bar where pretty much everyone knows everyone that walks thru the door, kinda like cheers!! Spent many a night sitting on the back porch having a cigarette and some good conversations with patrons and bartenders alike! Food service is new since COVID, but they have pizza and steak sandwiches now that are sure to pair well with whatever beer or drinks you might be having, they occasionally have karaoke or a small band from time to time as capacity isn't huge, but on a good night I think it could probably hold a hundred people maybe, not sure what Fire Marshal capacity is but it's gotta be close to that. Anyway if you ever come thru town on ATV or side by side it's right on the trail so that's never a bad thing and is right next to a dollar general and a gas station right around the cornerParking: The parking lot isn't paved but it almost adds to the charm of the place and makes for easy access for ATVs and side by sides”

“Was really good, was disappointed in not having many baked goods available. Maybe they have a full selection in the morning but we were there at noon and the display was mostly empty. Lunch was really good though, and our server was great. I'm sure we will be back plenty and find a better selection of bakery items in the future.”

“The food is good for bar food, the staff is friendly enough and attentive enough, but nothing that screams top notch, the atmosphere is kind of like a hunting lodge bar, with more TV's and music, often times drowning each other out, but all around it a nice little spot in a beautiful little town on a nice little Adirondack lake, golf course just down the road less than a mile, beach is about as far, there's a kids summer camp between the bar and golf course, so it's located in a great spot, there's 3 other bars and restaurants within 3 miles 2 of which are within a quarter mile, all 3 have there own thing going on, pine tree shoots to be the snowmobile and wheeler hangout, hunting hang out where people come and show off the latest trophy, if that sounds like you it's definitely worth checking out!!Parking: Tons of parking and not far off the trails for those on wheelers or sxs or snowmobileKid-friendliness: They have a video game or 2 for kids that are waiting for their food to come out or waiting for their parents to finish their meals and go back to hitting the trails or lake”

“I cannot say enough how great the environment, the staff, and ultimately, the food is compared to other pizza places I have eaten at. The pizza here is consistent unlike Capri’s in Boonville. I cannot even stomach pizza from Boonville Luigi’s. This place blows Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Little Caesar’s out of the equation! I wish this place delivered, because I would order there a LOT more! The prices are fair unlike all of the other local pizzerias in the Boonville area!”

“Bare bones dining area, so takeout is the way to go. The food is typical Americanized Chinese food, so No surprises, but the dishes are consistently tasty and plentiful. The menu is large and I was happy to see steamed dumplings on it. They were flavorful and well stuffed. The service is no frills and I admit I sometimes strain to understand what they are saying on the phone, but the food is hot and the orders are correct. That's a big win for me! For a small town takeout, it's a solid choice.”
