I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stagecoach Inn and was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening out for my wife birthday. The food was exceptional, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers who made sure every need was met. Overall, I highly recommend Stagecoach Inn for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience. 5 stars without a doubt!

My husband and I ate at the Stagecoach Inn Restaurant two nights in a row. The appetizers were very good on both nights. The hamburger was excellent on both nights. The chicken parmigiana was too salty. The pasta bolognese was too salty and several members of our party could not eat it. If I am ever in Goshen, NY, I will go back but will choose wisely from the menu and avoid pasta and stick to red meat entrees.

After many years, this is finally one of the best restaurants in orange county. The ambience is spectacular. I don't know which is better the ambience, the high quality of the food, the fantastic wine, and the care we received. every suggestion was up to par and beyond. The whole experience was amazing. The staff is incredibly fantastic and attentive. Stagecoach is a very lovely place—one you really want to dress up for to have an especially nice evening out.

We were immediately greeted by two friendly, welcoming hostesses. They were engaging, funny and friendly. First of all, the place itself is gorgeous! Our server made delicious recommendations and planned our meal out for us. We started with the oysters... delicious! Then the salad, a regular caesar salad was to die for. My husband got the parpadella and I got the filet mignon. Both were savory and delicious! We had the cheesecake and the creme brûlée for dessert. We cannot explain how amazing all the food was! We were not rushed and instead were checked on frequently, but not too much. The pinot noir was fully bodied and delicious and the Manhattan was very good. Our bill came to a reasonable price to our surprise. We have already planned a night back with friends in a few weeks. I would highly recommend to anyone!

The service was incredible from the bartender to all the waiters and waitresses the food and drink was excellent and it was very nice that the owner came around to the tables to talk to the customers overall it was a great dining experience this was not our first time here and it will not be the last

Second visit, totally different than my first and complete 360 - very good. My first visit I was very disappointed, food was so-so and service was non- attentive at best. This visit, service was excellent and food was very good. Glad I gave it a second try, will be giving it another go to see if we can get some consistency.

I loved this place the first time I went on Wed 12/20/23. The server was wonderful and so was the food from appetizer to dessert (that red velvet cake, omg!) We had the brussels sprout salad, the pork chop w/black truffle parmesan mash, and then the red velvet cake--all so, so good, including portion sizes. I went again to celebrate a friend's birthday on Fri 12/29/23 to introduce her and another friend to this place. To my embarrassment things weren't the same. The server had zero sense of humor, the lobster bisque was thin as water with literally two pieces of lobster in it, and was really salty. The steak we ordered was hard and charred on the outside and tough on the inside. The portions were smaller (the pile of those wonderful black truffle parmesan mashed potatoes I had the previous week were reduced in size by almost half--I asked for them in lieu of the sweet potato side the steak comes with). And the red velvet cake (I normally don't have a sweet tooth, but this... it's fantastic!), well, they ran out and replaced it with a cider donut. That was a sad replacement choice. Also, for me, the point of the prix fixe dinner is that red velvet cake because there really are no other desserts that interest me on the menu which consists of 3 ice cream choices, one mousse, one cheesecake and that donut that replaced the red velvet cake. The server should have told me they had run out when we ordered the prix fixe to begin with. My entire order would have likely change had I known. Anyway, I love the building and eating in the room next to the bar room that looks like a living room. I'll return and hope that things are the same as my first visit. Perhaps the problem was that my first visit was on a Wednesday night and my second was on a busier Friday night. Or perhaps the kitchen and waitstaff was different. If I can have an experience like I had my first time, Stagecoach would certainly be a favorite place to dine regularly.

We had a lovely experience at the Stagecoach Inn. The ambiance of the room we were in was warm and cozy. Our server was efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. We only wish we ate less so that we could have tried one of the desserts!

The ambiance of the Stagecoach is always beautiful and inviting . The staff is always welcoming and very attentive However, last night our three meals were incredibly salty and therefore unable to be eaten. We did bring it to our server's attention and although he did apologize we still left feeling as if the amazing experience at the Stagecoach has declined and sadly after numerous dinners at this establishment we will no longer be returning

Almost everything was excellent. Our food, the service, the restaurant were all excellent. The only quibble we had (and admittedly some might say this is nit-picking, but....) the silverware was really cheap. I mean reeeally cheap- as in it was identical to what is used in my wife's school cafeteria. And our steak knives had cheap plastic handles that felt like they came from Just-a-Buck. When one is paying $75-$125 per person, every detail counts, and the silverware was just so glaringly out-of-place with the rest of the experience. I am not expecting the finest silverware, but the sub-diner quality presented at Stagecoach Inn was absolutely a subject of conversation at our table. That said, I won't let that stop me from returning, or recommending the place.

So happy the Stagecoach Inn is now open on Wednesdays! My friend and celebrated her birthday last evening and were seated in a beautiful room with a fireplace, and no other guests were in the room. There was a large party across the hall in a dining room, but it was still quiet in our room. Great to be out to dinner and be able to have a conversation! Our cocktails were delicious, and we shared a bottle of wine at dinner. I had the Caesar salad, pork chop with truffle mashed potatoes (the chef didn't overdo the truffle), and affogato for dessert - one of the best I've had. As if the atmosphere and wonderful meal weren't enough, our server Sierra and her assistant Carlos were spectacular! Just the right amount of attention. Still one of my favorite special restaurants.

Came back for dinner. Food was fabulous. Recommend the stuffed chicken breast and the Papardelle Bolognese, which arrives with a very generous amount of beef short rib. Service could be better, had to keep asking for water refills. Should not need to do that. My original Mothers day brunch review still stands.. Food was good, however it was not too different than what you would find at an ordinary breakfast buffet for half the price. There was a few standouts, like the prime rib, but I would not recommend at this price point, which was a little over $100 per person. The service was attentive, but we where told to use the same plate for additional servings. The same plate! Not acceptable, and I asked them to bring me a clean plate. They also sat our party of four at a petite table, it was a little larger than a nightstand. No room for our drinks, the waitress had to put them at the nearest tableesque piece of furniture. I soured on buffets a while back, and this experience only reinforced this.Parking: Parked in the lot across the street from the inn. Not sure if this lot belongs to another entity, but it was empty.
