Had high hopes for this Japanese rest that was highly recommended by a friend. Firstly, the poor hostess who was also our waitress is amazing. She juggled the whole restaurant herself, with grace and a happy smile on her face , which was impressive, so 5 stars for her. Unfortunately, the menu was truly lacking, the limited choices won’t be attracting me back anytime soon. The spicy tuna was colored quite brightly it was off putting. It did taste good so the bright color wasn’t necessary. Shrimp tempura was ok but our son enjoyed it. Unagi don was overly sweet. Sushi sashimi was again suspiciously bright in color. The ambiance has seen better days but was clean.Parking: Lots of public parking at the back. The night we dined there was a free parking sign

I normally don't give bad review even if the food is not good. I but this time. I ordered hand roll for my son, & the seaweed is saggy & chewy. I told the waitress. She was upset & said we need to eat it right away. But he start eating immediately after plate was placed on our table, cause he was so hungry. She exchanged for us. She demanded my child to eat it right away with an mean tone, & mean look on her face.

I'm obsessed with their sushi. There's nothing like it anywhere else. I've eaten there hundreds of times. Their lunch specials are amazing their sushi fish is so fresh and their rice is so delicious. It has a unique flavor like nowhere else. I hope they stay around forever and never shut down. Support this business!
