Came here for lunch today. Family friendly, they have a stroller parking but didn't have any changing table in the restrooms. My husband and I split the happy hour wings, fried & the sourdough BLTA. The avocado blt was very messy and hard to eat, wish It wasn't the thick center cut bacon. The fries were great along side the garlic lemon aioli. My son had chicken fingers and fries which were just OK.

Safe for those with food allergies and an all-around good time. Everyone is super friendly, too. Super close to main street for easy shopping or a pretty stroll after a good meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free is the big one, but they also have vegetarian and vegan options.

The food was out of this world. I had the chicken dish with mushrooms and oh my god. The staff was super accommodating and welcoming. This may honestly be my new favorite. Every dish was so so so good. Live music was wonderful, manager was super friendly. Love first and south so much.

Nice place off the Main Street in Greenport. Located where it says... 1st and South. Nice menu, efficient service, good food and cocktails.
New to the area and currently focused on trying a new restaurant every weekend.I was excited to try First and South and enjoy a more American traditional restaurant. The atmosphere was great as it was packed and people were having a good time. The food was seriously ~okay~ my tuna burger was not medium rare which is what I asked for, it was well done.What I think the restaurant could most improve on is their cocktail program. For $16 I don’t think a cocktail should ever come with a clear plastic straw, poor quality ice, and no presentation other then a quarter of a lemon ? in a town where more and more cocktail bars are opening up with similar prices and exorbitantly better quality, First and South should take this to heart.Probably won’t return but glad I visited

Went here for brunch on recommendation from another restaurant I visited in Long Island. I was not disappointed. I had the most delicious brunch burger. It was very messy and very filling. It was served with some delicious fresh cut fries. Very impressed.

Well there's a first for everything, apparently don't come here if you have a newborn baby in a stroller on a Friday afternoon when no one is there because although you can bring dogs an infant is considered a hazard! I want to say there was no one there and we could not even sit in a corner on the patio. Discrimination is an understatement. The manager was dismissive and rude on top of it. We live in Manhattan and the best restaurants have never refused letting us eat. Reallly Greenpoint Long Island this is not inclusive behavior.

The food here is great! A little on the pricy side but can't complain because at least the quality is good. The corn was unbelievable, drenched in sauce and Cotija. The roasted corn was Great but portion was really small. We also got the Mac n cheese, it was perfectly made and loaded with various cheeses and topped with crispy bread crumbs. The brownie dessert was not the best. The flavor of the brownie was unique because it had tahini but it came in a mason jar and it was layered with ice cream and cram on top so it was basically impossible to get a bite of the brownie without making a mess of the desert. By the end few bites it was a melted mess. It should've been served in a bowl in my opinion and have a few more brownie pieces. Service was nice, we had a very friendly waitress and the hostess was able to accommodate our request for sitting outside despite it being very crowded by having us wait near the bar or dining room until a table opened up. Good ambiance - it's a beautiful restaurant
