“Fast service. I usually order ahead on the app, but since this was my first time here I just did a walk-in. I ordered my drink at 1:30pm and was in and out of there within 5 minutes. The parking lot is shared with a lot of other stores and was pretty packed even on a weekday. There are speed bumps and lines in the parking lot and it's more organized than other Starbucks I've bThe people picking up drinks before me were super picky and had the barista redo the drinks, but the baristaS were nice about it. Definitely would recommend this Starbucks location and will be coming here again.“
“There are many coffee bars and coffee shops in New York State. A good many of these offer a wide selection of coffee. Most serve an excellent product. While the coffee served at the establishment I am about to discuss, is excellent, there is something extra about it that places it in a category of its own. No, this is not something that can be packaged in a brand wrapping or sold as a coffee additive that would render the elixir more delicious. I have been frequenting the Starbucks at Long Island University CW Post every Sunday for the last two years. "The Long Island Youth Orchestra" holds its rehearsals at the university and one of my children is in the orchestra. The Starbucks is located in the Hollywood Commons building. while the Commons is big the Starbucks that is tucked into the distant corner near the theater is not a particularly large. There is seating for a quick bite or to sip a cup of excellent Joe, however, when classes are in session, seats are at a premium. What stands out about this particular Starbucks is the team of baristas and the excellent manager that leads the team. Throughout the two years I have been a patron of this Starbucks, I have seen the baristas navigate long lines of coffee buyers without a hitch. I have also witnessed persnickety and downright rude patrons be dealt with civilly and effectively by the manager. The team of baristas and the store manager are a credit to the brand name. In addition, to all this, the pour over Blond is an excellent choice for a simple cup of coffee, not to strong but full bodied. The coffee is served hot and with a smile. I recommend this coffee shop when visiting the campus, the coffee is excellent and the service is stellar.“
