We asked the owners to bake us cakes and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and my son's Baptism and both cakes were so beautifully baked, delicious and exactly what we wanted! The cupcakes are equally amazing and my absolute guilty pleasure! I even bought them for my daughter's daycare teachers and my co-workers for Mother's Day and they were a total hit every time! We also love ordering from them for birthday celebrations and 'just because'! Highly recommend! They use fresh ingredients and never disappoint! My best friend is now also hooked! Lol

I used to go to the Vanilla Bean when they were in Carle Place. Everything was always fresh. Not only were they fresh, each cake, cupcake, cookie and individual desserts was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately they closed down. Although I love to bake, I was lost because those times I didn't feel like baking I couldn't find a bakery like this. One that had the freshest and best tasting cakes, and baked goods. One that used top quality ingredients like the Vanilla Bean does. And one that had a variety unlike the others. Well the Vanilla Bean recently opened in Grace's Marketplace in Greenvale. I'm so happy they're back. We ordered a Red Velvet Cake for my daughter's birthday. It was so elegant looking and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't overly sweet like so many other bakeries. Everyone raved about the cake. We also bought cookies for the little ones. By the end of the night those disappeared. The adults finished them off. Ordering the cake was easy by going to the website. Ed responded right away and told me the cake could be picked up at his bakery inside of Grace's. It was boxed and ready to go when my husband arrived. We are so happy to see the Vanilla Bean back.

This is a MUST-TRY bakery on Long Island!! Each dessert more delicious than the next! The owners are warm and welcoming. There is a large assortment of unique cakes, cupcakes and other desserts. Hard to choose just a few, but some of my favorites are the Nutella Obsession brownies, S’mores cupcake, Hummingbird cake, and the Milk & Berries cake. We have placed multiple custom orders, and we keep coming back. So glad to have found a place that serves quality, homemade baked goods with fresh ingredients - the Vanilla Bean is simply the best!

I've purchased cakes cookies and a bunch more for various occasions including my wife's bridal shower and they always delivered way beyond expectations. I've had an amazing experience both in the store and with their catering. If you're vegan or not - this is definitely the right place for you. The only thing better than the food here are the owners who are some of the nicest people I've met who truly care about their customers. Before they opened at Graces Market I would still order desserts on their website, but now I can get what I want any time! Not only are their products top notch in flavor with high quality ingredients, but the owners are very creative and constantly coming up with some amazing flavor profiles and mash up’s that are out of this world. There’s so much to choose from and everything is so delicious it’s so hard to decide what to get! I went to the new spot for the vanilla bean baked goods, it's worth it! The cookie butter cheesecake cup is divine, all of the favorites from before are there, some cakes by individual slice! The flavor is amazing, prices are good. You won't want to go anywhere else! My daughter found the chocolate chip cookie to be one of the best she has tried!
