Recently a friend sent me a care package of bagels from Zabar's, the fabled NYC deli--and I realized the bagels from Hastings Own Bagel are better. They have a nice variety here, the coffee is good, and the employees are always cheerful and friendly.
This is an excellent local business that makes some of the best bagels my family and I have ever had. It's a local standby. Not particularly flashy because they focus on the product, honest and friendly service, and again, delicious bagels.

Wonderful staff and great bagels. On my days off from work I make my way to Hastings to buy my usual and see Maria. She is such an amazing person and has great customer connections. Not only does she know my order but she asks me about how I have been. I always see her busy working and yet never fails to have a smile on her face. Thank you for making the visits amazing ! :)
