Cute tavern! We have gone back now multiple times. They are so accommodating/knowledgeable with gluten free! There are only a few items that you have to call ahead for 24 hours. But almost everything on their meal is gluten free. I LOVE the turkey shepherds pie with sweet potato mash on the top. And they carry gluten free cake from the local bakery. This is probably the best local food spot I’ve been to in a while. Prices were OK to be honest, I can’t complain because it’s in one of the nicer areas of the county. Server was amicable and the food was excellent. The lady and I had an appetite for some American food and we did not regret choosing to come here for our first time. by the way, they don’t take Apple Pay and if you’re the owner or Customer Service rep reading this please try to recruit the payment method of Apple Pay, or any mobile device payment method because the youth also want to eat here.

I ordered two burgers and some mozzarella sticks for pickup on a Wednesday night. The person on the phone taking our order was very polite and attentive to our order. However, my friend and I were extremely disappointed by the food. The mozzarella sticks and fries were fine, but the burger was abysmal. The patty itself was very poorly seasoned; it tasted like someone just grilled a plain puck of beef without any salt. Instead of a burger bun, we were given massive Kaiser rolls, which were way too big for this burger. I think the pickles were house-made, but they were hardly picked and tasted more like plain cucumbers. I asked for lettuce, and I was given a single leaf that was buried in some poorly made coleslaw. I couldn't finish this "burger". I wish we were told that they were out of hamburger buns; we would not have ordered from here. I never post bad reviews but the burger was so bad that I felt compelled to warn others.

We ordered drinks, and later were served satisfying hot chicken vegetable soup, then an ample hamburger platter, along with a tavern house salad. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. 4 of us had dinner at Maud's tonight and the food was not good. The service, staff, and ambiance were fine. The salad and onion soup were good, but the burgers and beef version of shepherd's pie were very uninspired. Very disappointing.

If I could give Maud's more stars I would! Omg! Everything about this place was perfect. We came in December and the place felt like a scene out of Gilmore girls. It was beautiful and festive. In general the vibe is homey and warm. The staff was lovely. Friendly, kind, very welcoming. Okay the food! The food was out of this world. We shared a French onion soup and my advice is to order two. Lol you won't be sorry. It was the most flavorful and delicious French onion soup I've ever had. I had the crusted salmon and it too was full of flavor it was cooked perfectly! My fiancé had the meatballs and loved them. The portion was perfect and they were covered in a creamy flavorful sauce. I can't wait to come back here!
