The food here is always pretty great. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the experience I had. The staff is usually super kind but today that was not the case, my waitress made fun of me while I was eating my food which made the environment extremely uncomfortable. As I was sitting down the restaurant wasn't crowded at all (we were the only people seated in this section of the restaurant) so I know that they were laughing and talking about me. First, she had asked if I wanted a fork with my salad. I said the chopsticks would be okay and I proceeded to eat. As I am eating, there were three waitresses standing in the corner about 10 feet away from our table staring at me and occasionally laughing with each other. I realized this but decided to brush it off in case they weren't talking about us and just happened to be looking at our table. When my actual food came, they served it to me with a fork. (In my 11 years at attending this restaurant they have never given me this meal with a fork, if I need one I always have to ask because they keep them near the sushi bar.) As I proceed to eat my food with chopsticks, as that is my preference and how I always eat my food here, the waitress serving my table and two others were still watching and laughing. I was still trying my best to ignore it, but as I missed my mouth with the food I was eating, I looked up and I watched my waitress go to tap the other one to look at me and start laughing but as she went to do this, I looked at her and she seemed really embarrassed because we made eye contact. This is how I know she was talking about me. As soon as this happened they stopped standing 10 feet in front of our table watching me but would occasionally look over at me and look to the other waitresses and smile. I no longer felt comfortable eating because I was literally being watched and laughed at anytime I looked down and put food in my mouth so I quickly paid and left. My waitress never even checked up on our table but did a really great job at making the environment extremely uncomfortable. She didn't do her job as a waitress as she had another waitress check on us and see if the food was okay but at the end of the meal she made sure to take the tip and settle the rest of bill! I felt bullied when all I wanted to do was sit down and enjoy a meal with my friend. This is extremely rude behavior and even though you might be speaking in a different language I can still understand that I am being watched, laughed at and made fun of while trying to enjoy my meal. It is extremely disrespectful and really a shame as I have been going here since I was a kid. Lesson learned, use a fork or you will get bullied at this restaurant!

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I also love that they have the lunch specials available on Saturdays as well. We'll definitely be coming back.

We love it. Sushi is just better (fresher) than most other places; service is terrific--always welcoming, friendly, accommodating, fast. It is a popular and beloved spot among locals and beyond--all for a reason.

Loved the food at this spot! A lot of options and decent prices. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. Parking seemed limited, so if you go around busy times you might have to drive around a bit.

It's definitely a top 5 Japanese restaurant in Westchester. Sushi and sashimi very fresh. Large selection of intriguing rolls, if that's your thing. Attentive service, easy parking. Can get full, so a reservation is a good idea. Highly recommended.

Standard Japanese style restaurant in Westchester. Food was fast and hot. Wait staff was efficient and pleasant. Tempura (shrimp, onion, taro and sweet potato) was very crunchy as it should, but could use a touch of salt. My salmon was fine. My daughter's a typical American kid and the chicken and soft noodles satisfy her palate. I grew up eating more traditional Asian foods and have more of an international palate and this food is fine.
