Meh. It was fine for pub food. Nothing special. Chicken fingers were blanks but house cut fries are good. My husband enjoyed his shepherds pie with cheese on top.

I was on a business trip to Islip, up from Florida. I usually look for a sports bar when I travel and this was close to the holiday inn where I was staying. Great atmosphere, girls behind the bar were very efficient and helpful. I ordered the "Irish Nachos" after reading it had a shepherds pie topping. I'm originally from England and so this caught my attention. The food was amazing, plenty of it, delicious and well priced. I swilled it down with a great pint of Guinness. Plenty of TVs to watch sport and comedies and music videos. Highly recommend it.

The food was good, but be sure to check your bill. I ordered a Manhattan straight up instead on the rocks and was charged an additional $ 4. I never heard of such an upcharge. Ridiculous and petty.

The smallest drinks on the rocks I have ever had. The glass is no higher than my thumb. And if you consider the volume displacement of the ice and large piece of orange peel, there is hardly any liquid or liquor. Do not order any mixed drinks on the rocks.

Just saying, worst service I've ever had in my life. Bartenders looked completely miserable and waited forever for a beer. I just wanted to leave and I couldn't get the check because they wouldn't acknowledge me. If they didn't have my credit card, I would have walked out.

One star because the French onion soup was very good. I hope the owners review the tape. Long day in the city, hungry and wanted something. Passed Graftons so many times and very good reviews. Not very busy and I sat at the bar to grab a beer and a bite. It was like I was invisible. One bartender, dark loose hair walked by me a bunch of times, ignored and never even looked at me. Grabbed some limes, walked to the end of the bar and started slicing them. Refilled the hopper right in front of my seat and went on her way. Two regulars walked in after me and got served immediately. Four people sat at a table behind me and immediately got minimum. I still sat there. I was finally asked what I wanted to drink by the other bartender with her hair drawn back. I ordered a beer and asked for a menu. Got the beer then I took way too long to tell them what I wanted. The soup was very good, service was awful to me. While trying to get the check, one bartender bought about 5 guys their first round and I sat there. It would have been a good place to go given I pass it all the time but not for service that leaves me uptight
