OK--my doctor told me to limit my carbs, so I don't buy as many Walkers Shortbread Cookies as I used to (primarily because I will indeed eat them). Darn! I love these things. However, I do allow myself one small box a year for the Christmas holiday (the ones in the Christmas shapes). I force myself to share them with my 7 grandkids. Sigh. . . . This Christmas I bought the Shortbread Gingerbread Men cookies. Now, I am known to my grandkids as the Gingerbread Grandma, so how could I resist. I was going to put it in with the rest of my Gingerbread Man and Gingerbread House decorations to open Christmas morning but when my grandkids spied them at Thanksgiving we had to break into the box and sample them. Hmmmmmm-just the right amount of ginger within the lovely Walker's Shortbread cookies and the Gingerbread Men were very cute and just the right size for the smaller hands of the grandkids. Merry Christmas Walkers--your gingerbread shortbread cookies are totally awesome!
