Place was empty. The lady and the manager was too nice. I felt like I have always been coming to this spot for years. I can't speak for rhe other reviews but I am very pleased at the service and the food. Need a little seasoning but ok for a quick bite.

It's a diner in the Heart of Hempstead. It is what it is. Definitely should not be traveling out of your way to eat here. Food was ok I guess. Staff was friendly. It's one of those spots you tip the lady good because you feel for her/him(atleast I do as I worked in this field from HS into my 20s. So she is basically your waiter, the host, answering the phone, making your drinks, and who knows what else. Look out!

I went to this diner with my mom and sister one morning to catch up. The service was great and our food wasn't bad at all. I would return in the future if I'm nearby.

Classic diner atmosphere filled with family-friendly staff. Sandra gave us amazing service as we were in town for our friend's funeral. The food and coffee were good and quick.

Placed an order online for delivery and got a call a few minutes later saying my total was $17 instead of the $15 it said online. I asked why and they said it was the delivery fee. Not only did they lie and added automatic gratuity, the food was straight up terrible. Literally no cream cheese on a $3 bagel… The pictures speak for itself

I paid 20 dollars for a chicken quesadilla. It was sloppy and it was falling apart. I would have rather gotten a quesadilla from taco bell. They used cheese wiz instead of shredded cheese and the tortilla was soggy. They used oversized dry seasonless chicken to put inside the quesadilla one of the reasons it was falling apart. They didnt even toast the tortilla. The cooks who made the quesadilla were latino. You mean to tell me they dont know how to make a quesadilla. A disgrace to my latino people and quesadillas everywhere.

My first time here. I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. I was pleased with the atmosphere and the tone of the setting. The service could have been better if there was more than one person serving. I asked for green tea, rye toast, and the broccoli omelette. I received Lipton regular tea and white toast. She offered to switch it but I was not willing to make a fuss. The food was more than enough. I understand that the cashier/waitress had to multitask but if she wasn't sure of the order, it's ok to confirm. I am unsure if I will return.

When you are accustomed to good food, experienced good chefs, its difficult to give a place like this a good rating. The diners sitting area is good, coffee, tea okay, but how do you mess up a salmon cake or home fries? The food is not cooked fresh and has a bland taste one wants to forget. The waitress and service okay but not wearing a mask is not okay. Its unfortunate because this diner is located in the central area of the village. Like I said, if you never tasted good food, this food would be top of the line for you.

This is one of the very few diners in the area still making quality food. The make the best breakfast in the neighborhood. I enjoy the coffee as well. Nick the owner is a sweetheart. He cares about his customers and understands what it is to stand behind your business. The Greek salad with grilled chicken is delicious and the classic cheeseburger meal for lunch. The bacon egg and cheese is a New York classic here. Make this your first stop when in Nassau County. I miss Nick and this place now that I have relocated.
