Too much rice and very little meat. Not worth the price and some place I would refer someone to nor would I go back.

(New ownership) The woman who used to greet you at the counter and served you was the sweetest person. She no longer works there. When I went in today and noticed her absence I asked about her and instead of being up front and honest the new (woman) owner decided to be coy and deceptive.

Recommend by a friend of mine after a long work day. My family and I enjoyed every bite. I bought Jerk Salmon , BBQ Chicken and Oxtail Salmon all serve with with Rice & Peas, yellow plantain, and Vegetables. I also ordered a piece of Strawberry cheesecake and a red velvet cake. Everything!!! .... And I mean EVERYTHING was delicious. The cleanness of this place is A+ and the pleasant friendly faces of the ladies who serve and take your order are definitely

There are some restaurants you go to and never forget the taste of the food. The food here is okay. If your absolutely hungry then stop by here. The staff is friendly and there is a sit in area for those who like to sit in. Being a take out person I was a bit disappointed that they never get my order right even when repeating the order twice. And there are never any plantains! Anyway, I get the order home and surprise! white rice instead of rice and peas for example. Also, the gravy if there was any was dried up into the rice. : ( Other then this, the place is clean from what I can see, and the food okay when your hungry.

We came here last minute to have platters made for the job. Thalia was so pleasant and helpful. They were able to have our food ready in an hour. We called around to other spots and they all wanted a days notice. Not this place. The food was so good . Great portions , good flavor and fresh. We will be ordering again real soon. Hats off to the chef.

Food is good depending on who’s the chef. I paid 17 dollars for a large oxtail and it was mostly rice. I was confused.

Since moving to Hempstead a few months ago, I've tried food from four local Caribbean restaurants. Flaming Grill House is my favorite. Everyone who works there has been very nice to me. The food is excellent. The woman behind the counter is cute and sexy. The seating area could be nicer.

So I'm very easily confused and thought this was the bodega next door from my office but I'm glad I made the mistake because I ordered their BBQ chicken with rice and it was soooooo good. Two days later I tried their curry chicken, this time with cabbage and plantains and again, I was very happy. The chicken was full of flavor and the added vegetables and the sweet plantains were a great combination. The meals were $9-10 and I had leftovers both times. I'm a fan :)
