This review is self explanatory. Hair in food, not one but two in the half platter I ate. I will not attempt to eat the other half at this point as I'm disguted. This shows substandard hygiene. When I spoke to the manager he was courteous and explained they have received complaints from other customers about this issue and he is going to look into it. For now, I am not going to risk my health.

They used to be good and then they went the hot table route where everything is sitting for who knows how long. It doesn't taste the same anymore. Hamza and Madina Hicksville for some fresh halal food. Atmosphere is very bland last time I will come here.

Delicious food. The chicken is tender and nicely marinated. The rice by itself (without the white sauce) is a little dry, but delicious. Asking for extra rice on your platter is free.I recommend the chicken platter or the combo platter.The falafel pieces are puck-shaped. They are very crunchy on the outside, and are quite good by themselves without needing to add sauces.The dessert kheer is also quite tasty, and the Baklava is flaky and sweet, with plenty of nuts.Yasir (one of the employees) is very friendly and remembers repeat customers.

A clean and cozy restaurant. I ordered falafel sandwich with salad and hummus. The sandwich was delicious. Fast service and welcoming staff. There is no parking on the street but there is a parking lot in the back.One problem is there is no bathroom.

Here's the story ... I was visiting my son at Hofstra and this was the place that he picked. But wait don't let four stars be bad. And listen it was good. At the end of the day I'll go back.I'm just not a super fan of the gyro meat being held in a chaffing dish hot. And the rice was not as flavorful as I've had other places. The hot sauce and the green chutney was super good though. Next time I'll try the chicken. The gentleman at the counter was friendly. The place looked clean. The service was quick but done to order. In the end this place is a solid place and I'm going to go back!

Great food, the portion as well as food itself are absolutely delicious, and the sauces make it even better. Service is good, they talk to you and are direct, easy to get your point across. The store is a little small and dimly lit, however it's a nice inside of a store for somewhere with such great food. Sorry, took the photos after I already ate everything...

Entered the restaurant around 4:30pm, only had 1 staff cooking and handling frozen gyro with his hands, no gloves. Wiped his hands on a rag, entered my order and went back to cooking.I should have left when I saw him handling food with his un-gloved hands. Got the combo platter. It was ok. I've had better. The next day i got sick and had to use the toilet frequently.I do not recommend.
