It’s been pointing and every time I try another so I won’t mention the names but I will say every other from Hewlett Woodmere no not even say to her in with Lawrrnce everything you can think of not even edible.Yesterday I finally found the most wonderful wonderful Chinese food and not only that they were able to speak to me on the phone and fill all my request . Could not have been easier and surprisingly oh that was the distance was further away then most the delivery time was almost half of the others. “Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. “Somtum was so delicious. Somtum usually has a strong fish sauce flavor but this one was most lemony and light. The chili powder is a perfect addition to spice it up.The pad kee mao was amazing. The chicken was soft and flavorful and there was the perfect mix of vegetables.We also got the ribs and it was pretty decent but it is meat on the bone so a bit more of a hassle to eat.“

“We were very excited to come here based off of recommendations and knowing the connections to the other establishments (the attic, tavern157).My recommendations would be to order a bunch of the shared plates because it’s barely enough for two people.The sampler platter was a good introduction to the food ( the moneybag dumplings was my favorite of the night).On a Monday night it’s not busy, which surprised me when I had to order a side of rice (not warm) that didn’t come with the shared plates.The atmosphere is nice, it’s Instagram ready, the staff are people pleasing, street meter parking was available and it’s a quick walk down a flight of stairs to the restaurant.Bathroom is clean and the food is decent. “Great Neck can be a pretty barren place when it comes to food. This is one of the few restaurants we love and frequently get food to go. The staff are so kind and accommodating! They have the best customer service. When I went there to place an order they gave me a glass of water while I was waiting. We usually order curry puffs, beef or roasted duck pad see ew and chicken massaman curry … all are delicious. I’ve gotten the rib appetizer which are so tender they fall off the bone. Some things I ordered were spicy but they cooked it to my preference, which is pretty mild. I love them and was so glad they reopened from the old Krung Tepp, which we also enjoyed. It’s a pleasure coming here.“
“A metric that I use to determine how good a restaurant is, is how good is each dish on the menu. Some restaurants are known for certain dishes while everything else is ok. This is not the case with Basil Leaf Grill. Everything that I have tried is a home run. The service is swift and accommodating when you dine in as well as the pickup service. If you order for pick up, the order will be ready in about 10 minutes. The restaurant is comfortable with mainly high partitioned booths. Lastly, the drunken noodles with beef is the best.“
“I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. “This place is inside the Tangram Food court in Flushing. Hey have seatings inside their booth. It's the only authentic Thai place in flushing. Unfortunately all the other ones have left.The food was very authentic and spicy. We came here for dinner. Portions were good and we didn't finish all our food.Service was very good. “Amazing food all around. Had the sweet corn soup and samosa chaat as starters, and they were both really good. The samosa chaat had the right spice level!Veg Hakka noodles is the main I got while my partner got Singapore noodles with shrimp. The Hakka noodles were perfection in texture, not oily, not soggy, just right and very generous portions too. Needed a little bit of salt but that's easily fixed and I'd rather have less salt in a dish than too much!Partner said the shrimp was cooked beautifully in their noodles and was very flavourful.Had the ras Malai for dessert and it was really good too. As previous reviews have mentioned, Tanveer was an excellent server and was very sweet and helpful.The restaurant is very clean, has really good table settings and overall the atmosphere is cosy for a dine in. Was in the neighborhood for a grand opening Mexican place but the line was a block long and was in blustery/ drizzly 26 degree miserable queue, decided to try this Thai place diagonally across. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful and we were greeted warmly. We tried the drunken noodles, pad thai and all were delicious with the perfect amount of heat.
