Solid thali under $20. I’m a sucker for thalis and this is as good as it comes. I wish we weren’t just driving by and could try the rest of their thalis. Server was also super cooperative with replacement requests. Next time, Hicksville!

I recently celebrated my 70th birthday at Chennai Dosas. Karen worked with me in planning a memorable experience. I've eaten there many times before and knew the food is so delicious. Everyone who attended enjoyed the food and excellent service. I loved that all dishes are vegetarian and a good amount of dishes are vegan. I particularly enjoyed the tofu pakora and the vegetable korma. The party room was large enough to even accommodate dancing?. A good time was had by all. I look forward to many more meals at Chennai Dosas. Thank you Karen for making my celebration such a success. ?

We just returned from a fantastic party at Chennai Dosa! The restaurant is very clean and Karen made the event absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, especially the vegetable korma, dhal, dosas and papidum! I recommend this restaurant to everyone, because the owners were flexible, kind, caring and attentive to the needs of everyone there.

I'm not a huge fan of dosas, and this place makes pretty good ones. The Paper Masala Dosa is very big and can be filling by itself. I also had the Somosa Chat which I thought wasn't bad.Lots of seating available. Service was pretty bad though.

This place is really great and an asset in Hicksville, owned by Chef Muthu. The food is excellent always, one of the best Dosa in Newyork. Service is also excellent, the Person on front desk always smile and take care of food.
