I used to love this place until the main employee left or was fired. Now when I call I have to call 3-4 times before someone picks up and the food is never ready when I arrive when I called ahead 15 minutes early, so that I can have my food for work. Today's breakfast was ruined unfortunately and now I can't eat. I only write this because I hope they make some serious changes and hire someone because I like the food and the people but I am at the point where I just may have to stop going there now.

I take my family to this restaurant a lot! This is the best place to grab a bite. I go there regularly. The cooking is excellent, the crew is courteous and the payment is affordable. I like being in this restaurant to have a tasty lunch.

The chicken & lamb don't taste good at all, the rice was hard like they preheated it when I got home in 10 minutes the rice was cold & hard , and the lettuce felt really old and slimy not fresh at all don't get food here unless you want an upset stomach for the rest of the day ?????

I only found this place because the deli around the corner on West Marie street changed owners since I was last in the area and it wasn't too welcoming.Well, Deli NY did that and more. The counter gentleman welcomed me in. Asked if wanted to try anything from the buffet. If I had any questions about the food, the menu, allergies to anything. If I'm catching a train call fifteen minutes beforehand he'll have it ready so you don't miss the train. He was so enthusiastic. My dentist is down the road and afterwards I asked if I could order breakfast (around 1pm). He said breakfast is served all day. Today after returning from another visit to my dentist I was greeted warmly again, got a delicious and quickly prepared combo over rice. Delicious and a great price.Breakfast all day, fast service, beer, open until 11pm and courtesy. Found my new utility spot whenever I'm next stuck by Hicksville LIRR.

This place advertised that they served halal food upon their opening, but had been serving Boar's head meat. They soon advertised that they stopped this practice and supposedly switched all meat being served to halal. However, recently they switched back to non-halal meat without informing the customers. When confronted about this, they use the excuse that "when asked, they would share the information". I am a repeated customer here and I was never told about the switch as I had been under the impression that it was all halal since I asked the first time around. This is all information I was given by the manager so I assure you, it is credible. Do not eat here if you are banking on the credibility of its halal status. They simply want to appeal to individuals looking for halal food without having an authentic status to it.

Website says open until 9pm on Sundays, went to their location and it was closed. They need to update their hours and not falsely advertise on their building which also states they are open until that time.

Surprisingly good - I am a big "lamb over rice" fan and they nailed it. The food does take a few minutes to prepare so be ready for that. Honestly its worth it since the flavors and freshness is there.I have tried a few others including the truck ones and they are right up there so props to them.

Love coming here, they have such good food with a wide selection. Just a one minute walk from the LIRR station. The staff let’s you try different things before you purchase, but it’s hard to choose at times because everything is so delicious. Definitely recommend their chicken over rice or their lamb combo.

I must say how disappointed I am because I did take out and by the time I got home my gyros was so cold,and i live 15mins away, they wrapped it in a really thin paper and there's less stuff in it and like really small, it was tasteless. That's one place I'm not getting my gyros and chicken over rice from again.
