Small, quiet and unassuming with terrific food and wonderful wait staff. Will definately be going back.

The food tastes really good, however the price for the portion js not it. How is a butter chicken $17 without rice or Naan? This wouldve been my daily if they include that with it or lower the price, and potentially get more customers by doing so.

Step into the heart of Hicksville and embark on a flavorful journey at Jazeera Indian Hyderabadi restaurant, where the rich tapestry of Hyderabadi cuisine comes to life. The menu is a treasure trove of authentic delights, from the fragrant Hyderabadi Biryani to the succulent Haleem and the beef patties, each dish meticulously crafted to perfection. Biryani was by far the best I have had in NYC. Haleem was good but on a little mild side and not as spicy as one may like but still really delicious. Once we were done with main courses, we indulge in the the heavenly sweetness of desserts like double ka meetha and mango rubbri. Double ka meetha was 10 out of 10 and a must have. With impeccable service and an inviting atmosphere, Jazeera promises a culinary adventure that delights the senses and leaves a lasting impression, making it a must-visit destination for aficionados of Indian cuisine and newcomers alike.

Food is average. Had the chicken tikka masala, goat curry, mixed appetizer, and a few other items. The menu was not huge, so I thought they like to focus on quality and not quantity, I was wrong. Chicken tikka needed more cream 5 out of 10 Goat 6 out of 10 Naan was okay Mixed grill okay 6 out of 10 Many other places to choose from in this area. I really wanted to like this place.

Ordered garlic Naan, chicken murgh and mutton biriyani. The mutton biriyani had at least 5 hair (small, beard sized hair) that I can visibly see....unfortunately I didn't discover this until I had eaten 2 spoons of it. Makes me sick to think about it. The garlic Naan was good. The chicken murgh serving size was very small and had a weird flavor to it, but the chicken pieces were soft and tender. The mutton biriyani was flavorless, at least from what I could tell from the 2 spoons I had. When I notified the server about the hair in my food, he quickly took it away, almost like this has happened previously with other customers. Then he brought out some lame syrupy toast "on the house" which I declined since I didn't want to eat anymore from this place, in case it had more hair inside.

The ambiance is nicer than most desi places in the area, and everything was pretty solid. Fish appetizer was tasty, I really liked the Haleem texture although flavor could use some more depth. Portions and presentation are good, will probably come back.

Had takeout. 20 minutes turned into 45. I chose this place because it was open after 3pm, ( my go-to was closed ). Ordered your standard punjabi fair and it was sub-par. i.e. chicken tikka masala, korma, it was pureed into soup and so much ghee that when cooled it turned solid. Flavor was lacking. No care in the prep. I will not be going back. I'm surprised at the high rating...

The lamb biryani was tasteless. It had no flavor at all. I asked for spicy it wasn't spicy or enough salt.

The haleem was so delicious! The mutton biryani was tasted amazing as well! Can't wait to go back again. Recommend it for the authentic Hyderabadi food. The owner is from Hyderabad so you can expect it to be authentic.

I had a great time eating delicious food at Jazeera restaurant. They were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked that you have a very modern style. Most importantly, the Haleem on your menu tasted great! Next time will try other dishes.

This is our 1st time visit and we are bowled with the taste of food. There are very few places where you get good taste of Mughlai cuisine. Taste of food - I am giving 5* . We took a starter platter , mutton curry, butter chicken , mutton biriyani , Malai chicken, Naan, jeera rice and Shahi Tukda. Biriyani tasted so good , specially the mutton softness. Naan was so good. Everything tasted very very delicious . We came here with friends and family to celebrate the start of Durga Pujo and it was a great start. We will definitely come again and if the consistency is still there, this will get 5 * Ambience-4* . Nothing bad but if the songs can be more of Hindi, would have loved that. Keep making good food

Sorry, dont have any pictures because it was just so hot and delicious. we finished over half the food before realizing we didnt take pics. First I was expecting to be disappointed because of the price and portion size. It is a bit more expensive than other restaurants (20% more), but if you want to dine out, the service and attention to quality is well worth it. The owner and servers are also very welcoming, a big plus. They reaaaallly care about good quality. Our favorite menu item was the Mix Grill platter. Char grilled meats, sooo flavorful and so so tender. For dessert, we had the Doubles ka meetha, hot fresh and different from the normal indian/Pakistani desserts. Try this place for a special occasion or to treat your guests, you won't be disappointed.
