AMAZING REASONABLY PRICED FOOD!I was running late and called them to keep our food ready for a dine in. When we arrived, they brought them right away. The food was good and priced well. The food is midly spiced and delicious. The staff members were friendly and polite. I’m so satisfied that I had a good experience.

We came here for just Tea ☕️ and coffee they told us yes it’s available then after sitting down we ordered some snacks along with the tea ☕️!They told us sorry tea is finished no coffee no tea we have no staff we ran outBut when we entered the store they convinced us that everything is ready for serving. If you are looking for kosher certified Indian cuisine, you may want to skip this place. I called the rabbi listed on the kosher certificate posted in the restaurant. His response was that the certificate is fraudulent, and that the restaurant hasn't been under his supervision since before Covid, even though the certificate had a current date on it. Perhaps something has changed since I checked some months ago, but I would recommend that if this is important to you, call first. The certificate listed rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg as the supervisor. Still, I would not trust any establishment which posted a fraudulent certificate.

Sadly this place has gone downhill since my last visit a few years ago. The food was mediocre at best and the service was also severely lacking. I felt like every request I made (appropriate sized sliverware, a large knife and spatula to cut and serve a cake, a takeaway container, appropriate kind of drinks are for hot coffee) was met with disdain and apathy. There are fewer and fewer places to get your dosa fix on the island but I don't think I'll be returning here

Solid food experience. Basic kind of place where you order the kind of dosa you want and then eat it. Nothing fancy. Sort of a diner atmosphere. We had several large dosas at our table; all were good but the vegetable specialty one was actually made with frozen vegetables. It was odd.(I noticed another review said this place was like home cooking. Guess so!:) ) Service was ok but not more than that.

I'm not sure how others feel but today was enough for me ... If you are in a hurry DO NOT ORDER from here ... They will act as if your time is not important and they are busy when they aren't .. I've been waiting for 40 mins [ by the time I finish this review] for food that was marked as ready... Quality food but bad customer service... I literally had to show the lady the food is marked ready as she is telling me it is not ... I showed her on her device on the counter .. no need to lie .. just be nice to customers who are spending with you instead of down the street.... if you are a local consider other options before wasting time here...
horrible experience-- last night I went with my wife and ordered 2 dosa, they served one fresh made dosa and the other one was cold as if made long back. When told them, they behaved so rude and said can't serve hot dosa.. this is the worst behavior to a customer, would never go back and would recommend others also not to visit unless u want some bad experience.. we have many good places for dosa in hicksville

Ambiance is decent, food was ok. We ordered paneer manchurian, and waiter just threw the dish on the table and ran away ( because they were busy??). It was made decently, but the portion was really small for the price ?? Then we ordered the South Indian thali, which was pretty good.portion was decent and all the stuff( idli, medu vada, paniyaram, dosa & uthapam) were well made. Service in general was pretty slow and the fact that the waiter just threw the appetizer plate on the table was definitely a put off.
