Normally I don't put reviews. I was upset I was told "only cash" and I had to go all the way to home to get cash. But I realized they take Zelle! The Dum Chicken was more or less like Chicken Tikka Masala. The Mirchi pakora had no filling. Try to do better!

I ordered punugulu and mirchi Bajji. Very yummy. I remembered my mom food today. Thank you bro.

Went for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. We ordered the paper dosa and cheese dosa. These are huge! Plenty of food for 4 people. Everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend to others and return for another night.

I absolutely love Gallifood. We first tasted their food at a friends party and we fell in love with it. When we decided to host a party at our place, we didn't have to think twice about catering. Everything that we ordered was so delicious. The taste, quality, quantity everything was 10/10. The price is great too. I highly recommend ordering food from them be it takeout or catering for your next party.

Used to be good as street food but now not only he increased the price by 40 percent in last year but the quantity has gone down the drain. $14 for chicken biryani that’s served cold with 1-2 chicken leg pieces.

I don't give street carts/ food trucks 5 stars since there is no dining experience... but I do for the food Gallifood makes. There is room for improvement, for sure, but Gallifood is the best Indian food I have eaten outside of NYC. I have only tried the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Pakodi, but they were sublime. The chicken in both dishes is so tender you could gum it if you had to. The rice in the Biryani, when you ask for it "mild", is beautifully seasoned, though still spicy. "Regular" is a bit hot for the modest palate, but it is still delicious. The chicken in the Pakodi melts in your mouth, while the cashews are deliciously crispy. It is not as spicy as the Biryani, but flavorful. They are primarily a catering company, so they are only irregularly available retail. When Gallifood does open up to the public, the food is cooked fresh to order. So it is advised to order ahead via WhatsApp. Otherwise, you can wait on line for 15+ minutes, or more than 30 minutes when they get busy. The ordering process at the cart is very chaotic and disorganized, with a mob often milling about. If you didn't order on WhatsApp you need to force yourself to the front. The WhatsApp customers will still stay up front, and not move aside and allow walk-up orders room to order (and the workers don't enforce any kibd of order). This is a problem for those who don't want to get mixed up with Facebook (owner of WhatsApp). Its also a problem viewing their Instagram and Facebook pages if you're not signed into FB. Making customers register with Facebook/WhatsApp (instead of Telegram or other non-intrusive apps) to get the best experience is a disappointing decision, though I understand it makes some aspects of the business easier for them.

Delicious food. C65, Mirchi, biryani and haleem are brilliant and remind me of hyd. Portion size is perfect as well!

This is the best food truck experience I have had in the US. The chicken biryani is really good. Thats all I tried so far. Recommended.Update May 28 2022: Today I picked up mutton biryani and chicken 65. The mutton biryani is very similar to the chicken biryani. If you like spicy food, then I would highly recommend chicken 65. It is hard to stop eating it. My complements to the chef. I hope they will add more dishes to the menu.

After much hesitation, I decided to give Galli food a try. I have to say I’ve missed out on this. Amazing Hyderabad biryani (both veg and chicken). With a touch of home feel, I’d say this is the best hyderabadi biryani on Long Island. Chicken 65 was delicious too. I also got to try punugulu and it did not disappoint either. Make sure you pre-order or else you’d be left disappointed. They usually sell out on the biryani. I’m going back again next week. Can’t wait for the menu to come out.

Tried coming here tonight, truck was not there. I even drove around the corner, no truck, but Yelp lists Saturday hours as 12:30-10 or so. What gives, guys? It's highly frustrating if customers cannot find your truck. Also, why only open on weekends? Please update your info. if indeed your truck is still open. I upped the stars to 3 just in case you guys are still there and I can come by soon and sample the wares.
