Finally found an authentic Indian place. Loved every dish we ordered. The cashier was really friendly. The place was very busy even though we went there for take out foods at 3pm on a Saturday. Need to go back there again and try different dish.

NICE SOUTH INDIAN CUISINE!We went to get dosa for our son who was craving for one. We were seated and got our orders in a very short time. My son loved his Dosa and my husband enjoyed his plate of idli. I ordered lasooni gobhi which was tasting like ketchup on gobhi Manchurian. Overall it was a pleasant and good experience.Idli : 10/10Dosa: 10/10Lasooni Gobhi: 6/10

Delightful family run restaurant. Food was delicious,with flavors both delicate and yet complex. The Lasuni Gobi was the best we ever had. Easy walk from the Hicksville train station. We can't wait to return!

Visited on a Friday at an odd in between time around 4pm. Parking is tight so I won't recommend it here just park maybe at the train station and walk. There were two ladies that greet you once you come in through the double doors. There's enough space for 10-12 families to dine here. Ordered their famous fried fish appetizer and their version of filter coffee and their Masala Pondicherry Dosa with cheese as the entree. Dosa came with sambar, coconut chutney and a spicy sauce which wasn't that spicy for my liking. Food was great and I had another round of that wonderful filter coffee. There's a bathroom right outside the inner door where you can wash your hands before you eat. They accept credit cards and cash. Good service. Please don't come here to order chicken Tikka masala and veg korma and garlic naan like a noob. This is a South Indian restaurant, enjoy some South Indian cuisine. Taste some kottu, idli, vada, dosa. Ask them what they eat in Chennai, a food capital of South India and they will help you choose! Don't be afraid to be adventurous here. I will come back for sure!Parking: There's very limited parking behind the building and it's very right too. It's better to park at the train station and walk.

I got DoorDash from here and it was awesome to say the least! Authentic, home-cooked, delicious Tamil food. I got the meen pollichathu, masala dosa, and kesari for dessert, and all of those were amazing! The dosa was thin and crispy and they did not skimp on the potato masala filling, and the fish was so fresh and tender, and perfectly spiced. I fish a lot, so i know fresh fish when I taste it, and this was certainly it. The woman on the phone was so kind and gave me a free dessert bc they ran out of the one I originally ordered. Lastly, I don’t eat meat on Fridays during lent, and they had plenty of vegetarian/seafood options. Will definitely be coming back again!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options

This is one of the best meals that I’ve ever had. The staff was so friendly and everything I ate was so fresh and delicious. My table ordered 1 appetizer, 3 different entrées, and 1 dessert, and every single thing was amazing.
