“The place is absolutely amazing!! The wine, the inn, the winery itself, dock, the owners and the employees make you feel like you are part of their family!!! Been there 3 times in the past year, also stayed at the inn all 3 times and each time is an absolute satisfaction. “Place has great vibes and the staff is phenomenally attentive. This winey is not on the popular wine trails, but shouldn't be missed. We left with a bottle of Peach and Raspberry wines, both very tasty. The stone fired pizzas they were cooking also looked amazing.“

“Shaw Vineyard's is warm, cozy, inviting and are they ever ready to have you taste some spectacular wines. Their reds are superb. The Cab Franc is particularly good for myself. First visit here, and to the Finger Lakes area. Met the staff and they were all very knowledgable and friendly. One of them gave us a recommendation to visit another local business which we did, and we could not have had a better time. Thank you for the entire experience! Y'all were awesome. We will return again!“

“This was a beautiful facility, and the first place where we experienced a proper wine tasting. Up until we came here, we were just given wine flights everywhere and left on our own. Finally we had someone explaining the wines to us. It was also the only place we visited that provided water and a bucket so that we could rinse our glasses or choose not to finish our glass. We visited 4 other wineries after this one, and it was a long day of feeling like we had to drink every single thing we tasted. Thank you for doing it right!“

They made for a fun wonderful experience. Incredible view overlooking the lake and stunning tasting room! There isn't one wine we didn't like. John was out tasting guide but shared his amazing knowledge of wine along with his unequaled knowledge of the Titanic,If you ever have a chance to go to meet him....I recommend you do! “Really cool building! Wine tastings are a bit more money then other places but they are unique in doing the tasting along with cheese tastings. We kind of threw ourselves into that without thinking and ended up really enjoying it and went home with cheese lol. Was $30 for two tastings but was super fun. The store part is really neat with lots to see, great for gifts. The woman who did our tastings was great at her job. The tramaline 2020 wine was so good !!!“

“We're not from around this area (or country), but on our way back from a hike, we stopped over at this winery. The views are spectacular of the lake and the wines (especially the Riesling), is delicious! Reccomend 110% if you have some time.“

“Highly recommend - 10/10. The pickle and wine pairing is just so fun. My husband and I even had our day before wedding event at Toast. Everyone LOVED it - especially since they had never heard of a wine and pickle pairing before! Jayne was so nice when helping us organize everything. She and her staff had the place open after hours to host 50 people for wine and pickle pairings or just a glass of wine and some snacks. They even had different pairings of wine and pickles than when we first tried it! Thank you Jayne, Mike, and all the Toast Winery staff!“

“We ended our day trip to the winery at Standing Stone. The atmosphere, wine, and costomer service were all out of this world! It was our favorite stop all day.Unfortunately, our friend driving had her car battery die while we were inside. The workers stayed nearly an hour after their closing shift to help jump our car, provide us a warm place to sit, and went above and beyond to let us know they were there to help! I think this goes to show what kind of friendly employees as well as an organic experience you can expect to have at Standing Stone. It will now be a must stop on our next trip to the winery!“

“This vineyard is really special. It is truly family-run and operated, and the family is lovely, hospitality is clearly in their DNA. We took a tour, which was led by the owner, started with glasses of sparkling wine, and included him pouring us a glass directly out of the barrel - see picture for evidence! :) We had a charcuterie board with our wine tasting which was amazing, as were the wines! The views are beautiful, it’s right on the lake. The indoor space is also cozy and thoughtfully designed. You would be missing out not to stop by this vineyard while you’re in Finger Lakes.“

“The new management at Caywood Vineyards is exceptional. If you haven't been here before ,or have and didn't have a great experience give it a try. The wine/ champagne choices are great and the wine cocktails that are available are sure to please any palate.“

“We just had the best experience! The staff were very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. The food and wine were excellent. They open at 11 which suits us as we are always early. It is the first time we have eaten in the winery, although we have been to the restaurant several times. The young lady who waited on us in the restaurant suggested we get a table in the winery while our lunch was being prepared to make sure we got a table. We had a nice glass of wine and tasted several and we ended up buying two. The host and hostess in the winery was great, knowledgeable and very friendly. Our lunch was delivered in a timely manner and a smile. We highly recommend this for brunch/lunch and also for take out.“

“Anyone that doesn't rate this winery 5 stars has no palate. I have been to Germany and visited their best (Prum, Haag, von Schubert, Kerpen and others). I know what great Riesling is. This winery hits greatness whereas others are very good, at best. There are some new wineries that show great promise but they are all vying for #2.“

“while I understand there are rules for large groups over six, the staff was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome.we were told we could wait for a group to clear out. when we approached the bar to look at the selection we were told we couldn't stand there. per the website groups of of 11-20 recommend a reservation, but state it's not required.very rude staff, not friendly at all. won't be back!“

“Amazing wine and snacks! We prefer sweet wines over dry wines and this place had an excellent selection of sweet wines! Pretty good view from the patio of Seneca Lake. Extremely dog friendly! We were able to buy 3 bottles of wine to take home and the flight was free, such a great idea!“

“The Best thing we did was join their wine club, and this winters shipment has just arrived for Christmas, its the gift that keeps on giving! We've been going to the Finger Lakes for 5 yrs now, and this is one of our favorite stops! Too bad shipping isn't included or we would've gotten a few more bottles?“
